Nice but small
Liked this product, does the trick. Is a little flimsy against the wind but might be how we set it up. Is a bit water resistant in light rain. Covers against the sun but is small so it doesn't cover a huge area.

This works really well for my purpose
I purchased the Coolaroo 11 foot 10 inch sail canopy to provide afternoon shade under a west facing gazebo. Installation was easy, about 30 minutes - just centered it on top of the gazebo, and wrapped the nylon ropes attached at each corner around the support structure. I may install 8 inch boat cleats on the gazebo and wrap the lines around those for a cleaner look. The area this shades is noticeably cooler without blocking all the light. So far it's weathered several southeast Texas summer wind and rain storms without needing any adjustment. The pebble color is good, and the fabric and stitching are strong. The shade is an equilateral triangle. The sides are curved inwards somewhat more than I'd expected from the pictures but that's not a deal breaker for me. I recommend this product.Update on 9/3/2014: The canopy has withstood the Texas heat and sun as well as the summer storms we've had this year. It looks like it did the day I installed it. Installing the boat cleats is still on my to-do list.Update on 9/3/2015: It survived a second summery of heat, sun, and storms without any rips or tears. The ropes are still attached and the seams are intact. The fabric looks a little worn close up, but it's not noticeable from the ground. I think it's amazing that it's still in one piece. Installing boat cleats is still on my to-do list.

We were not impressed with this.
We bought this and tried to install it once. We didn't like the look of it also seemed like it didn't give much actual shade. It was complicated to install. Once it was installed did not seem that solid to wear it would stay there on much of a windy day. We took it down shortly after we bought it and it just stayed on a shelf in the garage. We eventually just through it away. The quality was not great at all.

they do the job but not so easy to put up.
these do cut the sun as advertised and give a nice shady area, but be warned that you will probably need to do some thinking and planning before you try to put them up. We were trying to get coverage on a rectangular deck with three of these triangular shades and BOY did it take a lot of work to get them up and in the right place. Getting them tight enough to withstand our midwest rain and windstorms has not been easy. A lot of tweeking to get them tight enough and the right height with enough slope so the rain rolls off the side and not down on our heads. I think the quality seems good... we'll see how they withstand our weather, though. Wish they had come with some kind of hardware as I had to spend some bucks at the hardware store on bolts and hooks and tie downs to get them up securely. I'm no geometry major, but I now know that 3 equilateral triangles will not cover a rectangular space very well. We spent a lot of time sitting on the deck scratching our heads and drinking Coronas trying to figure out how to get them up right. LOL! :) Wish I had just popped for the more expensive rectangular one and saved myself a LOT of hassle! Still, now that they are up they do look pretty cool. We got two Sand colored and one Mocha and overlapped them a bit for a nice look.

Don't expect an actual triangle. Does NOT come with mounting hardware
Was expecting a perfect triangle, but the cut bows in from each of the corners. So there are straight edges from corner to corner, more of a rainbow shape. The result is that the area that you are covering does not get full coverage. If you have one edge lined up against a wall or the roof line, there will be a rainbow shaped section of sunlight that shines right through.Install was a pain to get lined up right and took a bit of trial and error, and after buying an additional $20 worth of mounting hardware, I'll continue to use it until I can figure a better solution.
