OK, there are one or two minor issues, and they are figure-out-able and once you get it right, the table is magnificent. I will do my best to explain the solution to the two issues we had. It only took my husband and I 30 minutes from start to finish. I tend to be obsessive when buying something that is important to me, and I'd rather buy quality than save fifty bucks and get something that is a lesser quality. Likewise, I don't like spending more money only to learn that something less expensive was just as good. But that is not the case here. This table is solid. No wobbles. In fact, it doesn't budge. This thing is the real deal if you are a serious artist. Since there is a large center drawer, I really had no need for cheesy plastic cup or pencil holders on the sides. I prefer to have an extra 5 inches in working space instead of a kitchy place to put pencils or paints. So that is another thing this table has over tables that are slightly less expensive. It has a wider work surface. You can also adjust height. Sometimes I like standing up while I work, and you can do that with this table. This is a quality product and everything lines up exactly. The assembly areas that were a little challenging were: 1) The drawer Solution: You can do it the way they say, but it isn't obvious. First, on the chrome drawer mechanism closest to you as you are sitting at the chair, you want to screw it to the drawer throught the 3rd hole from the front. Once the front screws are in on each side, Slowly, and by trial and error, level the drawer and slide it in and out along the glide mechanism, until you see where the back screws will go. It will require some patience, but once you see where they line up they will go in just fine. You just have to slide it slowly to see where the holes match up. 2) The table doesn't lay flat Solution: After we put it together, the glass didn't lay flat. Even though we read a remark that this happened to others, we still thought we had done it properly, but we didn't. The rubber pads didn't make contact with the frame as we knew it was supposed to. Someone here already mentioned that a brace was upside down, but that was still a pretty vague direction. Finally, it occurred to me that the bottom brace that attaches the hinge the frame has to go curved side up and you should screw it in, in the table flat position. I am attaching a video to show correct placement. A photo would have been fine, but Amazon doesn't let you add photos, only videos. As an aside, the back end of the drawer arrived damaged, bent out of shape, but it's not something that will keep me up at night or make me want to deal with the hassle of returning it. But it did get damaged during shipment I guess so there must be some room for improvement in the way it is packaged. Happily, for me, that damage is minor.

This is a heavy table which can be adjusted fairly easily. The pencil ledge is flimsy so the middle of the ledge bends a little away from the table edge.

This table is what I wanted! Great design, very sturdy, and feels like an expensive table. Surface is a little bit grained which will prevent laptop sliding. Even though it is grained, it doesn't affect drafting process. I found only two cons: the height adjustment is not fast and super easy (you need to unscrew handles on both sides, adjust, and then tighten); also the name of the seller's site is visible and nothing you can do about it. Overall, the table is awesome!

I was looking for a design table to fit into a modern design open-concept house. The glass table top reduced the "presence" of this design table so it did not obstruct the sight line.
