NEEWER Ball Joint with Handle and Micro/Cold Shoe Light, 360 Degree Rotating Panoramic Ball Head with 1/4" QR Plate for Tripod, Monopod, DSLR, Load up to 8kg

I bought this to go on the Neewer T222 monopod, as I like the freedom of quickly releasing my camera. Not professional gear, but for the average photographer it is strong enough and also smooth enough. I have used it with a big full frame DSLR and 100mm macro lens, so it takes heavyish gear easily. The nice small removable video handle is good and can easily be put in the bag.

I have only used once in a "work" setting, but it did fine. It is smaller than what I am used to, but that is not a problem. The handle is smaller and feels a little funny, but the unit manipulates easier and more smoothly than my old one. I am very pleased with it.l

Quality seems okay, but didn't get a chance to test it since it doesn't fit on my tripod. I double checked and my tripod has a 3/8" thread, but the thread on this head is too small and doesn't fit. I will be reaching out to the seller to return this

Solid but when panning left or right it is not smooth, and feels like it catches. Poor internal machining of parts.
