difficult to use for drawing and art
its decent- but very difficult for using with smaller drawings as it is blurry. It keeps automatically changing slides of the photos by default so you have to pause it every time you load up an image, read the description carefully as you need a tripod and adapter. if you have iphone as there are only usb and hdmi ports. There is no pitch options to further adjust the screen too so you have to physically move it alot and fiddle with it. it cost me $100 cad and I feel its pricey for what i got considering i had to go buy a tripod and iphone adapter separately. For art use I would recommend something else, I am sure it is good for watching movies as the clarity is nice when projected large.

You cant ask for much more at $55
Great projector. I don't know what the resolution is, if I could guess it's probably 480p. The brightness on battery is good enough to get you by in total darkness. Ittl last about an hour on battery which is pretty good. I say this is good because I actually opened this unit up to see the insides, and the battery is literally the size of my thumb. Plugging this unit into a 12VDC supply gets you full brightness, which is excellent for watching TV outside by a fire. You can get 12V lithium battery packs on Amazon for around 30 bucks that will increase the brightness of the screen and give you a total runtime of about 3-4 hours. Great combo for on the go entertainment. Icing on the cake is that you can power a FireTV Stick using the USB port on the projector. I mainly use my Fire TV stick lite with a really short microusb cable as a streaming device with this projector, you don't need the extension dongle either to fit the usb plug in next to the HDMI.In short, an absolute steal for what you're getting. If you're thinking about getting this projector, go for it. You will not be disappointed.UPDATE: i ended up returning it. Still a good projector but just not good enough for what I was trying to do with it. Going to get something a little more substantial for my needs.

Very dim
If you are expecting anywhere near a bright image, you need to be in a nearly 100% dark room.Otherwise, you will not be able to see the projected image.Just be aware of that before you purchase.I would rank this device more of a novelty than a serious projector by any means.

this is for artists
you can get a very small image with this. I was able to trace my image on 15 inch paper. art projectors that are digital are out of my price range so I am thankful to have an opportunity to use this affordable one.

Works for camping b/c it's rechargeable!
I was looking for something for our cabin that is off the grid and only has electric if running the generator. Wanted something we could watch downloaded [Netflix, Hulu, etc...] movies from my android phone, tablet, pc. I tested it out last weekend and was fairly pleased. For the price, it's a good deal.Pros: Small, portable, rechargeable and doesn't need to be hooked to WiFi, Internet. It states battery will last about 1.5 hours. I haven't tested that yet. Worked from my phone, tablet so far. Haven't tested game systems yet [PS4, Xbox]Con: Only thing I wish was better was the brightness of it. Not easily viewable unless it is dark. We're inside of a cabin without walls, curtains at the moment, so it doesn't work great until evening time.Definitely was worth the price. I will update once I've used it more.
