Doesn't Work at all.
I think these are actually wired incorrectly to work for standard earbuds with an inline mic. Pushed so only 1 pole has contact, they have full audio from the right ear, but pushed so the second pole has contact or more, it's fully muted audio.

Not compatible with all TS (2-pole/"mono") 3.5mm mic input jacks
This adapter is internally connected as follows: TRRS ring #2 (ground) <=> TRS sleeve (ground) TRRS sleeve (mic) <=> TRS tip & ring Devices with a true 2-pole mic input jack may short the ring of this adapter's TRS plug to its sleeve. If the device's mic jack sleeve contact is long enough to touch both the sleeve and ring of this adapter's TRS plug, the mic signal will be shorted to ground. Some devices may have mic input jacks which are electrically 2-pole but equipped with a shorter sleeve contact to ensure compatibility with 3-pole plugs. Those devices should work fine with this adapter. Only devices with true 2-pole TS mic input jacks are affected by this compatibility issue. The manufacturer could have avoided this problem by leaving the ring of the adapter's TRS plug unconnected. I am not sure if the ring connection is necessary for compatibility with some 3-pole devices, but as far as I know that isn't the case. The manufacturer may want to look into this and consider revising their design if it would improve overall compatibility. (Hint, hint)
