Extremely Narrow
Got these as a birthday present and was very excited, having recently gotten into the barefoot style of shoe and looking for an upgrade. Barefoot shoes are supposed to have a wide foot bed and these were literally the most narrow pair of shoes I’ve ever put on my feet. I mean, they’d be very narrow for a regular pair of tennis shoes.. and these are supposed to be barefoot shoes! Such a shame. Will never buy merrell again.

Keep Feet Cool. Nice Indoor Shoes. Fit Wide Feet
I have wide feet and have a hard time finding shoes that don't feel cramped in the toe area, even with wide widths. It's not because my feet are super wide, I just think quality control is poor and also we all have unique feet. My feet also get hot in a lot of shoes, which I find uncomfortable.I wear these inside with socks. I've never used barefoot shoes before, so I was skeptical. While the toebox material does touch the top of my toes, it doesn't bother me because it's flexible and breathable. Arch support is good--feels like normal shoes. They're a bit tight getting on, because the opening is restricted. I bet if I didn't wear socks, they would be perfect. I normally wear 12 Wide, and these fit with socks on. 12 1/2 might be better. If you don't want to wear socks, you should find your normal size to fit well.

Try if you’re interested!
I love how lightweight they are compared to my previous shoes that now seem so clunky. And low profile! I feel like I could parkour—though I won’t. Already, mind blown!I ordered my usual size but had to return and size down. I wear a woman’s 9, usually, so I first got a men’s 8. There was a good half inch or so of room. Researched and found that every *half size* is 1/8” difference. Ordered a size 7 and they’re perfect. Still about 1/4” of wiggle room for the toes. As is recommended. Feels right. The arch support works well for me. I have an average arch under my foot, I think. As far as the spectrum goes in terms of high arch or flat feet. They’re wide enough, thinking the womens shoes run more narrow. Plus, I love the lichen green color.Wish they had the heel loop to pull the shoes on more easily. The shoe tongue is attached on the inside and is a little annoying but it’s comfortable once the laces are tied.Glad to swap for these and donate my old pair.Worth the money if the shoe fits! Anticipating to wear these for years.

Love these shoes
This is my second pair. I use them to run in. They are the first pair that don’t hurt my feet after running.

Good but …
I wanted a low profile trail runner that took up minimal space in an overnight roller bag. This shoe is perfect. It is comfortable and has a great tread for walking on an uneven trail. My only complaint is that it is made for narrow feet. I have wide feet and they barely fit. So a caution to those of you in this situation.

comfortable but falling apart 1 week in
i like them for feeling very quality and the way it made me walk. they took some breaking in but i go used to them quickly. unfortunately the rubber that wraps up around the toe of the shoe started peeling away after less than a week of wearing them, never kicked anything or slipped to cause it, just split :/ other than that they are pretty great shoes :)

Better than expected as far as comfort. My foot size is 12.5 inch U.S.
This was put on the bottom of my list due to less than perfect reviews. However these fit my 12.5 inch foot better than theTrail glove 5 which quickly became one of my all time favorite shoes. At first the arch seems excessive but after a short time it actually adds to the stability and comfort also impact is greatly reduced compared to the previous generation (trail glove 5)

Shoes that fit, and work very well.
Those shoes are my introduction to zero drop shoes, and it took a bit of time to get tused to them, but now after a couple of months my knees hurt a lot less, and in general I feel much better walking and running.I would say that after a very long walk on concrete I find the arch of my foot really hurting, but that happened in all shoes so not specific to this one's.

Bonne chaussures minimaliste

Overall Positive feelings only.
I own 2 other pairs of barefoot shoes. one from Vivobarefoot and a cheap one from amazon. Owned a pair of Merrell trail gloves 5 previously. some thoughts based on my experience so far.+Good quality, as one will expect from Merrell.+The lacing setup looks & feels great.-Effort is needed to get it on & off, compared to older trail Gloves I owned. But it's the same effort as one would require for my other shoes. Nothing super bad.The outer sole is a bit thicker I feel, but personally, I am looking forward to it, since the Merrell gloves 5 I owned had to retire in a matter of few months last summer. I would appreciate a bit of longevity for this money. You will feel the arch support initially but will get used to it. On the first day, I thought I might have to return it, but now it seems I got used to it. Not sure why a lot of negative reviews are out there just because of this.Update: after many travels and almost 7 months of usage. From longevity, as well it's a really really good pair of shoes. light to pack for travels, quick to dry, and comfortable.

Too narrow at the fore foot. Shoes shape very different from earlier versions of Trail Glove.
I owned multiple pairs of Trail Glove versions 2, 3, 4 & 5. This is my first version 6.I must say that there are some new features that are great:1. The tongue is attached to the shoes even at the sides with soft fabric, this prevents pebbles from getting in through the instep.2. The lacing system has improved with better ankle grip. However, there is a huge difference with this version of the shoes, namely:1. The shape of the shoes have a more pronounced curve. I am not sure if this even right as it felt kinda strange.2. The fore foot area has become a lot more narrower. This prevents the toes from splaying properly. I am not sure if the narrowing is due to the more pronounced curve given, but it is a problem especially if you have wide feet like mine.Take a look at the photos I attached. The black color is version 6, the grey color is version 5. You will get what I mean.In short, if you have wide feet this version probably won't work well. You may consider one size larger, maybe it would work. Otherwise it is still a good minimalist shoe.
