No, it is leather (not patent leather).

Q: Is the lining also real leather, or is synethic/plastic made to look like leather?

I'm not sure if it's all leather, but it's very good quality. I've wear them for everything for a year and still look like new.

Q: Why does the description say suede when it's leather ? I clicked on leather and in the cart it still says suede with the black shoe.

If you are looking for a black suede, it says only size 9.5 left. Sometimes when your size is unavailable, other color of your size will pop up. Hope it helps!
