The bags I received were impossible to open. In fact I ended up using scissors to cut a small slice off the top to get them open which then means they can't be properly sealed shut if the cut is too close. Once in a while I would come across a bag that actually opened as (I assume) it should. The bags seem sturdy enough but the amount of work needed to get them open make them absolutely horrible to use.

I bought these to store all my earrings in so they wouldn't get tarnished. I've had them for a few months now and they work great! The material is nice and thick and makes travelling with jewellery a breeze.

I gave these 5 stars across the board. Unfortunately there is no way to tell how well it prevents tarnish buildup except over time. No reason to think they won’t. They do seem very sturdy. It’s actually somewhat rigid. This provides a little more protection for the jewelry inside. They are clear but have a bit of a blue tint which I don’t mind at all.These have a professional look to them, they don’t look cheap. All of my jewelry goes out in one of these bags. I purchased some from a supply company in the past. They were your regular plastic bag thickness. I definitely prefer these. The price was very reasonable and comparable to other sites. I’ll be buying more. I would definitely recommend these bags.

I'm very impressed with the quality of these jewelry bags. They are substantial and hold a variety of sizes. Best of all, they work!As several reviewers have stated, these are a bit of a pain to open. However, in my opinion, it is worth the hassle as these are quality anti-tarnish bags.I sell my jewelry in a small boutique shop. These bags are perfect to put my ready-made jewelry inside to store and to carry to the shop.I use a very large professional makeup bag (carry-on size with a shoulder strap) that I adapted for my jewelry to take to the shop. (I bought the bag on Amazon.)Although you can write on these with a waterproof marker, I don't recommend that you do that. I found that small Avery removable labels work better.I use these bags for my personal jewelry as well. For added protection, I put anti-tarnish strips in the bags which hold my expensive and antique jewelry. Some pieces I have in a safe deposit box. These bags have kept my jewelry looking brilliant.I have absolutely no reservations in recommending these bags.

I bought these to store my extra drills from my finished diamond paintings. The size is perfect to fit into a top loading card collector's box.

The bag itself is of OK quality, though I wish they were a bit thicker, as I've seen thicker pvc zip bags around on the market. This zip bag is not very sturdy and is definitely not suitable for items with sharp edges. The lock mechanism works just fine as it should, and it would be informative if the seller could tell the customers in advance that these bags are light blue tinted. They are definitely not fully transparent without coloring as you can see in the photo.

The seal is very difficult to open & they don't re-seal well either. Even after squeezing closed several times, the seal doesn't hold. How can these bags be anti-tarnish if air gets in? The bags are a heavier weight but not as thick as expected. They are quite sheer, though, and I can clearly see my jewelry inside.
