Where have you been all my life?
I should've bought one of these 30 years ago. Not only does it hold my yarn ball neatly in one spot, but it's also a beautiful, decorative item I can leave out in my living room. Unlike what many reviewers have said about the wooden yarn bowls, this ceramic one is completely smooth, so the yarn doesn't catch on anything. The size is perfect for a 100g ball or two 50g balls. It probably wouldn't be big enough if you were doing stranded work with multiple colors. Hey, good excuse to buy another one! It really is very pretty.

Perfect Small Yarn Bowl
The bowl was the perfect size. It is slightly larger than your average sized cereal bow. The bowl has a nice weight to it so that it is sturdy enough to not move when working with your yarn. The loop is nice and smooth so my yarn does not snag. I mostly got this for my balls of nylon netting that I use to make dish scrubbies. I am overall satisfied with my purchase, and it has already been a great help. It is nice to not have to worry about the ball rolling away as I crochet.
