Q: What is the weight of this sun protection jacket? I want to know for travel purposes

Light weight. Easily packed. It has a mesh type fabric. Good under layer during cold weather or light layer for warm weather.

Q: Does the zipper poke your neck when zipped all the way?

No it doesn't. I like it, it is light and is cool.

Q: Is this (salt) water repellent / stain resistant?

It’s not water resistant but it dries quickly. Dirt washes off easily, I do wash it immediately however.
