This safe is sturdy and heavy. Small enough to have secured in car if needed.I think it will be a keeper!

Day one... seems to be a simple functional safe. It fits my full sized gun with a little wiggle room and space for a extra mags, foam insert at the top is very slim. Time will tell if the fingerprint sensor dies/fails but so far only works with fingers and keys.This thing is not fort knox and I don't feel it's marketed that way it's a deterrent meant for smash and grab type scenarios...I don't believe an average crook is sitting around picking a lock or openly carrying bolt cutters, if that's a situation for you I think you need to not be where ever you are that people are doing all that...cheers and stay safe all!

Fingerprint reader works like a champ! High quality build, heavier than expected...no aluminum beer can here! We secure all of our hand guns throughout the home with these quick access safes. We secure all of these quick access safes to the house also. Should someone get in while we are away and they do find them, at least they'll have to go through the time and trouble to try and remove them. They may be taking some furniture with them. They do work, they work well, easy to set up, key backup (needed when those batteries die) and priced great. Highly pleased with them!

If you want this for easy access to your pew pew don't buy. After about a year the fingerprint reader works when it wants to. When it works it works great but that is hardly ever. I will put my finger on it dozens of times and it wont work, then for no reason it starts to work and I can open it every time until it sits for a few minutes then it wont open again. I have tried many batteries and its not that. I would definitely not trust my life on this. I no longer have it due to my anger getting the best of me and having a hammer to close to me at the time. If I wanted to use a key every time I would have bought the $20 key only ones. The other issue is the fingerprint reset button can get hit with the stuff in the box making you stored finger print disappear. I had to modify it to stop this from happening. Just to be clear the modification would not cause the issue I had.

i use this to lock up meds. i registered each finger multiple times and i get an easy open 99.9% of the time. only time i had an issue was when i hurt my thumb and the print was obscured so not the readers fault. since i dont put a gun in it, i have taken out the foam insert and expanded my storage capacity. my only coplaint is i wish it open a little bit more but it would probably be perfect for quickly grabbing a gun to use for protection. it is fairly heavy and with the stick on rubber feet, it doesn't easily move which, i imagine, would also be super helpful for quickly grabbing a gun and keeping little kids from moving it easily.

For the money, an amazing product. This thing is so easy to set up and get running, and very solid construction, sadly i got this for my glove box for my coupe, i measured the space but there were other things impeding the glove box from closing, this is perfect for a truck, camper, house, drawer. also the mechanism to open is spring loaded and exceptionally smooth when opening.

Good safe sometimes! I purchased two of these. One of them has been flawless so far! The second has forgotten all programed finger bios 2x! The key works great and still keeps the grand kids out!I work construction and often, the wear on my fingerprints stop the safes from opening(good/bad?).As my wife is also programmed into both, she confirms that it is in working order and I just rubbed my prints off again. The failure was concerning and still has me cautious, with the one unit. We are batting 50% so don't lose your key!
