You must know....
Really Great quality. 2 things you should know. Upon receipt, immediately change out the fishing line. It's very kinky and unusable due to probably being on the reel for God only knows. #2. I have very big hands. The space between the rod grip and the reel in kind of tight...but manageable. The reel stem could be longer...but all good really.

Great product/bad packaging
The Zebco Slingshot is a nice, light combo. I just wished Amazon packaged it better. I had to straighten out all of the eyes because the packaging had no inside product protection.

Zebco slingshot
I love this little set up. It works great for me along the bank while I fish at the lakes. This is my second one. My first one still works but it's 4 years old so I retired it. Great product for the price.

Broken in multiple areas
Horrible. I bought this as a gift for a family member with high hopes. Family did not open item until we arrived to visit on vacation. Upon opening the item it was broken in multiple areas:- rod tip broken, no broken piece in box- line was a disaster and became tangled and a birds nest immediately upon trying to tie on a swivel- when line removed it was overlapped in so many ways I never seen before.- Crack in reel completely broke to piecesI have purchased great zebco products in the past. This one was a bust and unfortunately we missed the window to return the item. All we are left with now is a rod with a broken tip and no reel.

Best light tackle rod combo
I bought this rod combo for my wife for a coast trip to Matagorda Bay Texas, She not only landed numerous gaftopsail catfish but she also landed a very nice 40 inch red drum after fighting it for 30 + minutes
