This is the best I have found. I tried cheaper stuff from pool store and it did little to nothing. This I had to add 6lbs to 10k gallons to get it up to 80ppm. I started with nothing in the water. I did add the first 4lbs to my skimmer basket. It was gone the next day but I waited 7 days tested amd added the last 2lbs I needed. This takes about a week to fully dissolve but worth it. I went from having my ic40 running at 30% to 3%. Mind you without stabilizer my chlorine would swing like crazy in my salt water pool. In the morning it would be above 10ppm and by dusk it would be zero. This stuff helps tremendously!

The grains are small and dissolve easily. I had used a brand name 4-lb bag already and since my 20,000-gallon pool barely passed the PH of 8, I decided to use this one as well. It is very easy to use. I just poured the entire package in the skimmer well and let the pump run overnight. The whole process was straightforward. This acid was suitable for my saltwater pool. The price was very reasonable and actually 25% lower than the nationally known brand. Overall, I would recommend. It was effective and lowered the PH to below 8. It has maintained and is the acid is stable. The water has stayed clear.
