My neighbor tried to destroy MY fifteen year old lush, well established grapevine that is on MY fence on MY property. In the Spring and Summer the greenery provided the most beautiful privacy fence, but she felt that the dying leaves and barren vine would affect the appearance of her yard as she put her home up for sale in September. Hey, why shouldn't she burn neighborly bridges since she's moving anyhow, right? Both times that she hacked at my vine the police were called, but they never did anything because she acted like a pathetic middle-aged crybaby. How disgusting.To assist with her home sale, I posted this 12 by 12 inch trespass sign on the gate that faces her yard. That way, prospective home buyers can know that a video camera is pointed right at them as they read this large, sturdy, vibrantly colored and vaguely threatening sign. Nothing says "Welcome to our friendly and safe neighborhood!" like a notice of this glorious and imposing nature! I figured I'd accent the majestic appearance of this warning sign with several piles of cut tree branches and overgrowth, which I discarded by the side of my house until after the neighbor's Realtor had the first open house showing.The moral of the story is, never, EVER assume that you can be a bigger jerk than I am, because I will take the greatest delight in proving you wrong. Also, this sign is AWESOME!! High five and five stars, YEAH!!

These signs are actually thicker than a standard traffic sign, although they are not a solid piece of metal. They are made of two layers of thin aluminum sandwiched over some kind of core material and appear to be top-notch, durable signs. They are superior to the flimsy signs I have purchased at hardware and big box stores over the years. They are also an inch longer (ten by fifteen instead of ten by fourteen). They are pre-drilled, don’t need additional backing, and are priced right. Even road signs eventually fade in the hot South Florida sun, but I think these will last awhile. I have had success using old scrap aluminized steel signs and sticking on black vinyl letters, but that is a lot of work and you can’t get the kind of detail that is on this sign. I purchased two at first, and was satisfied with the quality, so I purchased two more.

Great sign, thick and water proof and from what the cameras show, it deters the bad guys

They do work well, but this is not a metal sign. The description indicates it is a thick aluminum sign, but it is rather a decently thick piece of plastic with the decal on the front. That being said, the decal may be "aluminum" to an extent, but the way it is worded is entirely misleading. I ordered three and each one had shallow, but long scratches all over each one. I was leaving the country and wanted these up before I left as they still worked well despite being of different materials. They arrived the day I was leaving, so I couldn't return them before I left. By the time I got back and back to reality, it was too late to return them, at least per Amazon 30 day rule. Headlights will spot this from 200+ feet away as that is how long my driveway is. If they didn't arrive all scratched, my rating would be higher, even with the misleading description. If I were to buy again, I would wish there was a 2nd alternate product option to purchase these which included a stake for in-ground installation.

I haven't had a chance yet to put it in my yard but I love the quality just by holding it. Very sturdy and solid. Shouldn't be effected by most winds. Quite noticeable. I'll never really know if it works but I will know if it doesn't work. I got this sign and some other security devices after my house was broken into and my wife's jewelry stolen. Yea, I know, put up the sign and security after the horse is out of the barn. It certainly can't hurt.

Bought 2 signs - 1 for the front yard, 1 for the back. Used PVC pipe cut about 24" in length. Screwed each sign to the PVC pipes & stuck them in the ground. Wrote our street address on the back of each sign w/felt tip marker in the event that someone decides they want to take one. Then at least they can feel guilty about it when they see it. LOL. We have Arlo cameras so these paired up nicely for our home security efforts.

Good quality was thicker then expected had little delay due to customs but that's life.
