High capacity is great. Bottom fits on small electric burner. Lid opening is big and lots of height under the a fixed position handle (better than a swinging handle) make it easy to fill and to clean. The plastic spout pieces have been sturdy and have not melted. Tight fit of the lid is important, but tough to open. Looks nice. Loud whistle not annoying, but helpful.

I’m kind of a neat freak and like to keep my kitchen clean. I can say that the design of this kettle makes keeping it clean easy. The kettle keeps its glossy shine even after multiple washings.The whistle is definitely on the quieter side but it’s still easily noticeable.

I’m ok with the pour spot not staying up when you push the trigger. It’s not like I’m going to continue to pour. I actually like knowing that it will close automatically. This water kettle is great and has a very loud whistle when it’s boiling. I recommend this to anyone needing a water kettle that boils quickly!

Whistle is not very loud, so I boiled it to death within a few weeks!

It keeps pouring out hot water after kettle lid has shut. Its messy. Its spills hot water everytime I use it. Today it burned my foot with boiling water. Good thing I have no young children.It looks nice and does heat up the water to boling but messy and possibility could cause injury.Do not get this kettle.

Whistle is loud enough without being extremely irritating. Opening to fill is big enough to get to easily. Lid is tight. Only thing I’d like different is for the spout trigger to “lock” in an open position for pouring. It feels like it will last a long time oh and I like that there is no seam to get dirty at the bottom.

I bought this kettle in Feb and have used it for only 7 months but the rubber for the nozzle already melted and the lever for opening the spout is spoilt. Apparently the screw dropped and the wire for the lever is exposed and i could not fix it. Who can i send to for repair?Can Amazon arrange for a replacement to be sent to me?
