3-1/2 Inch Polymer Black Sink Drain Assembly With Basket Strainer and Stopper for Granite or Fireclay Kitchen Sinks

I installed a black composite sink several years ago and always had a problem keeping the metal drains / strainers clean. Had not seen a composite drain / strainer. These are well made and were easy to install and you don't have to worry about scratching them. They match the sink perfectly. The only thing that cold be improved is if the white foam gasket were black and/or smaller diameter. As supplied you could see it. I trimmed it down slightly and now you can't see it. Highly recommend.

Just installed 2 a few minutes ago and these things are the easiest drains I’ve ever installed. Installed and removed 2 glacier bay ones and they were horrible. A lot of people said they broke right away but just go slow and don’t over tighten and you will be fine. Definitely great product for the money and really updates the sink with the black faucet I purchased.

These have an interesting design for closing the stopper, whereas the center stopper is pushed down to close the drain, then lifted slightly to empty the contents of the sink. I have a double sink and was able to install both easily. My only concern is that the large ring that contacts the sink surface is a very thin plastic material. Also, I have almond-colored sinks, but these are a bright white. I knew that when they were ordered, and the different color is not unacceptable.

Just installed these about a week ago. I must say, the color perfectly matches my white kitchen sink. They were a cinch to install. Took longer to get the old drain out that has been in almost 20 years than it did to install the new (about 15 minute installation). Will follow up on my review at a later date if any problems occur. Recommended.

These strainers hold up way better than the much more expensive name brand ones we had before. We’ve had them over a year and the color is still holding well, even after serious scrubbing and beating them up with dishes and other stuff in the sink. I like that the gasket comes off easily for cleaning. I’ve even thrown mine in the dishwasher and they come out looking new. They hold water very well too. I’m so glad I stumbled across these after dealing with the other brand and their peeling paint.

No quality maybe because its are plasticCrack on me twice ordered another one, bad idea. It made my matte black sink look nice. Install was easy but not strong enough. My suggestion get a medal one

This is definitely white and not "off white" as stated in "about this item" description. Another reviewer described it as "more cream colored than white" but no it is actually white as shown in my photo of the white drain strainer in our cream sink. It feels like durable plastic and fits our original drain base. Our old plastic drain strainer broke apart after 20 years of disinfecting it in dishwasher. Hope this one will last as long. I'll skip putting in the dishwasher for now. I like that it fits our original drain base, because I didn't want to mess with removing the original drain base for fear of the new base not fitting exactly or leaking. Happy that this strainer fits our original drain base. It does exactly what we need, it strains food & prevents food from clogging up the drain. It can easily be lifted to toss the food in the trash.
