Best Harbinger Replacements
Like a lot of others, I used to love the Harbinger line of lifting gloves. They were well built and would stand up to heavy abuse. I was once a bit of a gym rat and would be there working out 5-6 times a week and putting gloves through their paces on heavy lifting days. A $20 pair of Harbingers used to last me about a year or so before I'd finally wear them out and have them unravel. Then the build quality of those gloves took a serious and obvious hit, and they'd unravel after only a couple months of serious use. I've been searching for a reliable replacement ever since. At first I tried the Grip Power Pads Elite. They seemed well-built, and at more than double the cost of the old Harbingers, I figured I'd get what I paid for. I was wrong. Those gloves started coming apart at the stitched seams after only a month or so of moderate use. To be fair, the seam splitting didn't occur in places that caused the gloves to lose functionality and unravel further, and it took them a while longer to degrade to the point of being unusable. But still, if I'm gonna spend $50-60 on gloves, I expect the best of the best, and they did not deliver on that. I also felt that the Elite's palm grips were overly padded. After years of searching, I'm happy to report that I have found these Trideer gloves to be the original Harbinger replacement I was looking for. They are the best value for the money, with great build quality, comfort, and true to size fit. I no longer push myself as hard as I used to in the gym, but I've owned these gloves for 5-6 months now and use them for some solid weightlifting sessions at least 1-2 times per week. They look and feel as good as the day I bought them. My one minor quibble is that the palm grips here also feel a little too padded for my taste, but it isn't nearly as much at the aforementioned Elites and it is definitely not a deal-breaker for me. These are the best gloves you'll get for $20 and should hold together for a good long time. They will be my go-to from here on out unless something in the build quality changes.

Good Substitute for the Old Style Harbinger Gloves
I bought these based on Ryan's review and overall, I agree with his assessment. In my opinion, these aren't quite as good as the old Harbinger gloves, which were amazing, but they are the best replacements for the old style Harbinger's that are on the market today. The reason I say they aren't quite as good is because they still are not all leather, like the old Harbinger's, but they are well-padded and fit very well and are very reasonably priced. They work great and provide excellent protection to the hands, palms, and wrists.

Great gloves!
I’ve had these for a bit over a week. On the 1sr day I showed them to the gym owner. She said she has a pair herself and they’re great gloves. I agree! I’m not usually a glove person for most sports because I like to be able to feel my connection. Some of the gym equipment has metal handles with the lil ridges for gripping, and that hurts my hands. These gloves don’t interfere with my “feel”, offer needed wrist support, some padding as well as protection from the metal grips on the machines. I’m very pleased with this purchase and the price point is great too. Enjoy your gloves and your future workouts!

Good product, even better service.
I bought a pair of these because my wrist and fingers have some bad issues (likely from programming and typing lol) since I was getting back into going to the gym with a friend of mine on a schedule and my wrist was hurting more than the routine. So I measured like it tell's you to, went a size down even though I was right on the line (like it tell's you to). Turns out I have really long fingers or a broken measuring tape lol.I directly contacted the company before going anywhere else like they "asked" me to do.I'm glad I did, explained my wrist was pretty bad and I did not want to be without any protection to even return the gloves beforehand to see what my option's were--they sent me out a pair the next size up as soon as they got the info they needed, free of charge, and told me to give the other pair to someone who needed them. That's pretty rare for a response these day's. On top of that, they were polite, kept in contact, and were all around friendly.I love Amazons return policy and have zero complaint's, but they handled it themselves...the size up is comfortable. But above all else they stuck to their gun's when it mattered and stayed in contact with me just to be sure I was satisfied.Short wait aside with the smaller pair it was an all around good experience and good product with zero complaint's.I can definitely say I would recommend, as they proved they would handle any issue's that 'may' arise without question, and the gloves are great now that they fit properly.I'm not the biggest fitness buff so others may have different need's or opinions, but for what I needed, they're perfect and I'm extremely happy with how thing's were handled. As for the gloves, the wrist strap is long enough to adjust pretty much to any size you need and stays securely in place while lifting (I'm a skinny guy, which is usually an issue on anything that straps)...they don't come loose or half dangle in the air and are easy to get off your hands when you need to.The grip is good...I suppose you may want extra straps if your lifting some seriously heavy weight...but nothing is just sliding around or becoming an issue. They do let you breath, my hands have not gotten sweaty enough to notice, even with a size too small at first...the fact it's getting cold probably helps but I usually hate gloves, these don't bother me at all.
