220 Gallon Compost Bin Outdoor, Expandable Outdoor Composter, Easy Assembling, Large Capacity, Fast Creation of Fertile Soil

I wrote a negative review for this product a few months ago because when I originally received the item the locking keys were missing so it was impossible to assemble. However, after receiving a replacement and having used it for several months I'm going to say that this product is really quite good. Easy to assemble, and did a good job of composting yard and kitchen waste. After the composting process is complete, it is very easy to remove the container by removing the locking keys and unraveling the flexible cylinder.

I like this. After unrolling it and laying it flat overnight with weighted objects, it was fairly easy to work with. The enclosed poles were too few and too flimsy though. I used about 3 times as many of my own much more substantial garden stakes of the same length. Now I have a sturdy composter that looks well put together.

This compost bin is just right!. I unrolled it in the house and weighted down the ends for about 24 hours. Even though the printed instructions were a bit sparse the photos and reviews on Amazon filled in any little gaps. It really was easy to assemble. Unlike other reviewers, I thought the support rods worked just fine as is. It’s better and safer that they don’t come to the top edge, and 4 are sufficient to keep it upright. I love too that the size is adjustable. I’m looking forward to making my own compost.

After starting my garden a few years ago, the number one tip for all gardens is to use compost. I saw this product and read some reviews and decided to try it out. I was very surprised on the great quality of the product, and especially how strong and durable it feels. I set up the compost bin about 4 feet tall and 2 1/2 feet wide because I don't have a lot of garden waste material to fill up. At full size, the product will be quite large in diameter and will provide plenty of compost over the year. Once I fill this one up to the top, I plan to buy another one so I can alternate between finish compost and cooking compost. I like the design which provides plenty of air circulation for composting faster.Set upThe metal 4 rods will help secure the compost bin to the ground. The extra clips will hold the circular shape as large or as tight as you have space for. If you decide to keep a tighter design like me, position the excess in the middle of the bin. This will provide a aeration in the middle of the compost bin. See Johnson Su bioreactor. The bin itself is fine enough, don't feel they give enough locking tabs but I made it work. The "poles" the give you with it should literally not be included. I'd really rather they didn't add it to the product as I was originally planning on heading out to the hardware store to buy some rebar when I was there anywaus, but didn't because this came with "bars".Wet toilet paper would be stronger than the crap this came with. They bend and break on the softest soil. So when it arrived I now had to head out to the store all over again to replace them.The compost bin itself is fine though and has been holding up really well.

The perfect portable, easy, seasonal, effective, & inexpensive compost solution. We have a city lot and our backyard is easily viewable from 3 streets, so we wanted to compost but can’t have “open compost piles” so this was a great option. It’s pretty large so it fits all our food waste + yard waste, and I really like that it’s easily adjustable for whatever you need. We did buy some extra metal rabbit fencing to put around the base to keep our dogs out of the compost, but that was an easy upgrade. I also like that if we need to move our compost, this can be easy taken down by myself. I set it up alone as well.

I made a mistake in ordering this compost bin. I have purchased, and used the Geobin in the past, and have been very happy with its quality and performance. I thought that was what I was getting again, but definitely not the same supplier. There is conflicting information on the listing. The heading lists the capacity at 220 gallons, but the compost bin feature info farther down lists as 211 gallons! I decided to verify it myself, and measured the bin at 34.5 inches high and 11 feet long. That converts to 207 gallons of capacity. Also, what is this made of that gives off such a bad smell? When I opened the box, I immediately got a whiff of a bad smell, and then as it was unrolled, the smell got even worse. I’m very concerned about whatever chemicals were used to produce this product will leach into my compost pile. If you purchase this product, I highly recommend rinsing it down thoroughly to remove whatever chemical residue is on it before using, but that may not help if it’s some thing in the product that continues to leech out.

I got this product because The Geobin was back ordered. It appears to be the same product. The plastic is very heavy duty and should last a long time. I have it open pretty wide and the diameter seems to be about three or 4 feet, So it can hold a lot of compost. My one critique is that the support rods that came with it were way too small and flimsy and short to be of any use, And that Stopped me from giving this a five star rating. I wound up getting some long garden stakes from the hardware store, the ones that are metal covered with green plastic. I sunk them in the ground about 2 feet, and then cut off the tops so they were even with the top of the compost bin. Now it’s nice and sturdy.

Works great

I bought this composter for a couple of reasons. I wanted an inexpensive second one that did not have a lid and I wanted one that was shallow enough to let me either reach in to remove finished compost or one that I could lift away to access the finished material. I didn’t find it that easy to assemble as the plastic kept rolling up. I held the corners down with some rocks, left it in the sun for an hour or so, and then found it much more pliable and easier to use. I like that it doesn’t have a permanent lid and find that if I want, I can cover it with a tarp. Since mine is already full at the diameter I initially chose, it is very sturdy and I can’t lift it away to access the compost though I could just take it apart and set it up elsewhere. Overall I am pleased with this product.

This seems perfect. It can be enlarged or made smaller to fit space. Light so easy to lift and access composted material as needed. Easy to assemble...ten min as apposed to the last one I had took me an hour! Was hard to remove and did not compost due to lack of air or ease to turn material over.The price was great!Delivered earlier than expected. Driver so helpful, even asked if I needed help to get it from doorstep. It was not that heavy. If my yard was bigger, I would buy a couple more!
