I recently purchased the Mictop Desktop Mic Stand and I couldn't be happier with my choice! This stand was a great choice at a great price! The build quality is top-notch, with a sturdy and stable base that holds my microphone securely in place. I love how versatile it is, allowing me to easily adjust the height and angle of my mic to achieve the perfect position. The stand is also incredibly easy to set up, saving me valuable time during my recording sessions. Its compact design is a bonus, as it doesn't take up much space on my desk. I bought this desktop microphone stand to use in recording voice narration for YouTube videos on my computer using a Sennheiser microphone I had. The photo shows my desktop setup. This stand was perfect for the job. It seems well-built and sturdy with all-metal parts other than the microphone clip. The feet spread out far enough so that the unit is well balanced with the mic installed regardless of the rotational positioning, with no tendency to tip over. The height of the microphone is adjustable between 9 and 13 inches above the desktop. For me, the lowest position was the right one. Finally, the legs fold nicely so it is compact to store. Very pleased with this product. It is functional for the intended purpose and seems like a high-quality product.

This is a very sturdy microphone stand and does kind of feel like it is made out of metal. This is much more durable than the stand that came from my Q2U and is a nice upgrade after my first one broke. It has high adjustment alongside leg adjustment for more stability on bigger microphones. One of the issues I have with this microphone though is the actual microphone tilt. It doesn't have any lock in place and is only held up by friction. I fear that it will quickly wear out with many adjustments. I wish there was some sort of stiffer mechanism or lock as there is for the legs and height as that gives more confidence on the stand. Other than that, I would recommend the stand with that in mind.

This portable mic stand is exactly what I was looking for. I do voice over work in my home studio set up and needed something sturdy that could be adjusted to the perfect height. Easy to set up with my AT2020 and shock mount. I've recorded several projects (including audiobooks) using this stand and am very happy with the quality! Highly recommend!

This little stand is sturdy, adjustable, and surprisingly stable for its size. Perfect for desktop recording, streaming, or pretending you’re narrating a nature documentary. Five stars. Does exactly what it should, reliably and without drama.

Sturdy construction. Stable. It was higher than I wanted, so I returned it. Would be great for on the road podcasting.
