Review: A truly heartbreaking and addictive read - What a beautiful read, I truly enjoyed this book. I read for two days solid without much break. I wanted to know the outcome of this beautiful family. It was uplifting to have this amazing love story, twisted with grief and regret. You cannot not fall in love with Ella, Beckett, Maisie and Colton, it is unbelievably heartbreaking how the story comes to a conclusion but through it all you still have this lovely story of second chances and unrivalled love. The book is so well written, and you really do feel the emotion throughout. This is the first time I have got to the end of a Rebecca Yarros book and I am sure it's not going to be my last. I definitely will hold onto my loved ones a little tighter after reading this book. Review: Just buy loads of tissues...seriously! - If you are familiar with military service you know all about the 'The Last Letter'. A letter and a promise to his best friend leads an Army serviceman, Beckett, to a family and a chance at a love that he never thought he deserved. Beckett Gentry is stunned when his Army buddy Ryan MacKenzie hands him a letter from Ryanโs sister, Ella. Having grown up in foster homes after being abandoned by his mother, Beckett is wary of attachmentsโuntil he reads Ellaโs letter. Ella, a single mother, lives with her twins, Maisie and Colt, at Solitude, the resort she runs in Telluride, Colorado. Their correspondence begins, though Beckett can only identify himself by his call sign, Chaos. After Ryanโs death during a mission, Beckett travels to Telluride at his friend's request, in his last letter. He bonds with the twins and falls deeply in love with Ella. Reluctant to reveal details of Ryanโs death and risk causing her pain, Beckett chooses not to disclose that he is Chaos. When Maisie needs treatment for neuroblastoma, Beckett formally adopts the twins to support Ella and her children. As Beckett and Ellaโs romance blossoms, questions are raised about the adoption, forcing Beckett to confront the truth about the letters from Chaos (AKA himself) and Ryanโs death, risking the loss of the family he loves. Beckett and Ella are sympathetic protagonists whose past experiences make them cautious about love. Beckett never knew the security of a stable home life, while Ellaโs impulsive marriage to her high school boyfriend ended when he discovered she was pregnant. Their romance unfolds slowly with the letters they exchanged playing a pivotal role in their connection. Rebeccaโs writing is crisp and sharp, with poetic passages that avoid being extravagant. While the love story is the bookโs focus, the subplot involving Maisieโs illness is equally well-developed, and the bond between Beckett and the twins is heartfelt and sincere. His relationship with Colt already had me from the beginning and I was not prepared to have my heart ripped from my chest with that storyline. I still can't think about it with crying. I hope all the talk of tears and sadness doesnโt deter anyone from reading this story. There's an abundance of hope and laughter in The Last Letter, and while the sad parts are impactful and harsh, so is the happiness. I love that, no matter what challenges they face, neither Beckett nor Ella ever give up. Their shared experience of loss makes their determination even more heartening and reassuring. I can believe why this book made such an impactful mark and it will forever hold a very special place in my heart. It's an absolutely fantastic readโa heartbreaking yet realistic portrayal of romance, military life, and the unexpected trials life throws at you. I can't imagine a world without this story. I loved every minute of it and I am off to as many of them as I can from Rebecca because apparently, I never learn.

Our main FMC I swear has been put through every tragedy manageable and sheโs strong asf as I donโt know how she even continues in life. If you think this is going to be a fluffy romance book then youโre absolutely wrong. I loved everything about our main characters Ella, Beckett, Colt, Maisie & Havoc. If your going to read this and go in blind please be prepared to have a box of tissues to hand, each time you think everything has calmed down and your emotions are in check please prepare for another smack of tragedy ๐ฅน๐ฉ Rebecca I do not forgive you for what you did towards the end of this book. I am a broken woman. One of the most emotional rides I have been on and that is saying something. Itโs so hard to say so much on this book without giving anything away for those who havenโt read it but yep this book is imprinted in my mind.

Book Review
I can honestly say this book has shattered my heart. ๐ For once Iโm not giving any spoilers because Iโm glad I went into this book with none because if I had I doubt Iโd of read it for the heartache I knew that was to come! (If you see my story you will see me crying in the bathroom!) ๐ฅบ Rebecca Yarros has honestly blown it out the park.. Iโm honestly just used to fourth wing/iron flame and didnโt know any of her work and wasnโt sure what to think going into this but holy god.. she is amazing. This might be the best book Iโve read in a LONG time. The story was just unbelievable. The whole plot of this book was just outstanding and I did not see any of the ending coming or expected any of it!! Which I find slightly common in books.. already knowing whatโs going to happen!! Although I wished for a different ending ๐ญ As much as this book broke me.. I cannot recommend it enough! I started this book on my lunch break today and havenโt put it down since I got home!! The only thing i would of preferred would be trigger warnings at the beginning of this book, for those who this book relates too in real life ๐

Kindle. Though I found a little bit weird to write letters to someone you donโt know, it was a beautiful story. I enjoyed it very much and shed one or two (or a thousand) tears. Read the trigger warnings because as a mother of a little one some parts were heavy and heart-breaking.

Very rarely do you come across a book that you know will stay with you long after you've put it down. You feel the need to pick it back up and just hug it, because you know it made you experience emotions you never knew you had. You know you'll read it year on year. This book did that for me. I fell in love with the characters. I laughed, I cried (a lot!). The turns the book takes leaves you breathless and reaching for the tissue box (because you'll definitely need more than one!). I've told every single person I've spoken to since that if there is one book they need to read in their life, this is it. Clear your weekend, grab some comfort food/drink and a blanket, stap in and ride that emotional wave.
