Quite expensive but it works well.
I have moved to fibre-to-the-house internet, with a design speed of 150 Mbps (million bits per second). With the old compact USB dongle, I was getting around 30 Mbps. With the new dongle I am getting 140 Mbps, so close to the speed that I am paying for. The product consists of a central dongle, two antennae that screw on, and a USB cable. The device sits on top of the computer tower, and connects to the computer USB port using the cable. The computer's operating system is Arch Linux (Endeavour OS). The dongle was automatically detected by the operating system. I recommend this USB adaptor.

Very good, works instantly with win10 and most linux.
AWUS036ACM Long-Range Wide-Coverage Dual-Band AC1200 USB Wireless Wi-Fi Adapter Sold by: Amazon EU I should have bought one of these a long time ago. Much better if you use Linux distros but also good for Windows. I only found one distro that didn't work out of loads of different linux isos i have on my usb stick. That was because the kernel was old and didn't have this AWUS036ACM included. All the problems i was having i thought was down to recent linux updates but it was mostly related to using wifi dongles with realtek chips inside. Realtek does not really write good drivers ,just the bare necessities. Even though some good guys post drivers for realtek on github ,none of them are 100% perfect and i was always running into problems. This AWUS036ACM wifi adapter is included in the recent linux kernels so should work like plug and play. Same as win10. Very good.

Good, but
Generally speaking adapter is very good, signal strength is good and with Windows 10/11 works out of the box - no drivers needed. But if you planning to use it with the newest Kali linux it won’t work, it says that it is working with Kali 2020 but definitely not with 2024 still did not managed to install it.

Nice
Supports packet injection and monitoring for penetration testing and cyber security applications. Shippings can be slow.

Linux Mint compatible
After doing some research for compatibility, the AWUS036ACM worked straight out of the box on my old laptop recently 'upgraded' from Win10 to Linux Mint - driver for the MediaTek chipset was built-in to linux.

Perfect Value for my money.
This Wi-Fi adapter is the best adapter I can recommend to any Cyber Security and Digital Forensic Analyst out there.

Do not buy
As many of the reviews say - incompatible with Linux. Only just managed to get it to work in Linux with a 3rd party kernel module but that comes with very limited usage. Would not work with kali.
