C'est un très beau costume, mais il faut avoir des bottes qui ressemblent aux bottes pirates... sinon je dirais que le costume ressemble plus à celui d'une gitane. Mais d'adore dans tous les cas!- Tissus de bonne qualité pour un costume- Prevoir à porter des leggins quand même parceque la jupe est vachement courte à certains endroits (et c'est dire quelque chose car je porte deja des robes courtes en temps normal)- Un collier à grosses perles ne serait pas de trop- taille OK

Cute costume but if you're looking for something of a sexy pirate, this isn't it. I ended up returning the item.In my opinion upon trying it on:Not flattering and a bit frumpy.It runs a bit large even following the size guide. Threading the lace ribbon was annoying as each eyelet was not the same size, but to see the fit and get the full effect, this needed to be done. The sleeves were a little itchy but not horrible.Dress material was comfortable and covered necessary areas.The price was fair for what it was.To me it was just okay.

Worked great for a dance costume. Did not tear or rip. Lightweight

I just wore this outfit. I ordered a medium, it seems to be appropriate sizing, I wear a 38C and was looking for an outfit that would also be appropriate for my 3 year olds bday party which is a pirate theme, so didn't want the chest area to be too exposed. That part worked well/adequate coverage, I didn't feel like the neckline would plunge down. Some parts of the outfit are very fragile I think-- the loops for where the red ribbon goes in the fake corset are very thin, I am afraid of it breaking, as well as the lace too... The whole outfit is one piece of material, I thought that the corset would be one piece and then the other is another piece, but the arm area is attached to the main body of the outfit. Then it also comes with the bandana, which I liked, since it matches the color of the skirt exactly.

I needed a costume appropriate for a family party with my 10 month old son dressed as a parrot. (Because every pirate needs a parrot!) I am a size 4/6 and currently a D cup. This fit quite nicely. I wish the elastic on top was a little tighter, however it is still modest enough with a strapless bra. I saw this exact costume at a halloween shop for twice what I paid for it here! The only drawback (and reason it didn't get 5 stars) is that I wish it had a tie or something to cinch it in the back.
