Good quality product
The pool mounts work great. You will need to take out enough concrete to get them to hold and last.

Quality construction
Excellent product & fit rail perfectly. As this was a new deck, I just mounted the units on a flat bar at the right spacing & concreted in place.

Boring holes for the anchors is not particularly easy, nor is aligning the anchors in concrete.
Most difficult thing was using core drill to drill holes in concrete, then aligning the anchors vertically on a sloped deck so that ladder would fit and bottom would touch pool side. I would not recommend this project for the novice as the core drill for drilling the 4 inch hole is heavy and must be held down either be vacuum or mechanically. Alignment of the anchors is also critical for the ladder or hand rail to fit into them.Once installed they function well.

Great for adding a pool rail to the pool
This is exactly what we needed to install our pool rail. We have older parents (with knee and hip replacements) who visit in the summer and use the pool. We wanted to add a rail to help them get in and out more easily. The pool store near us wanted a lot of money to add a pool rail to our pool.So we decided to try it on our own. Not too bad. The rail we ordered didn't come with any anchors etc to put in the deck. These anchors were heavy duty and were fairly easy to install with help from You Tube videos and a couple trips to the store for a bag of quickcrete/rent a core drill.I would purchase again and recommend to anyone wanting to add a rail to their pool.

Pricey but very well made
Just the thing to mount our pool railing. Very well constructed. Will probably last longer than me.

Defective
Very disappointed to have received this item with a large defect. Not happy, far too expensive to have issues.

Large Core bit and rottohammer needed.
A little bit of a project to drill the holes in the pool deck to then fill it with anchoring cement but it is holding amazingly. Be advised that you will need a 3.5" core bit with slight modifications to the hole for the retention screw area. You will need a 4" core bit to fit this completely with no issues but the metal will not cover your hole all the way depending how you set your anchors in the concrete. If i would have known these facts it would have made my life easier. I ended up using a 3.25" core bit and an air-hammer and cement angle grinder to get mine to fit perfectly before adding the cement.
