I used those in our "communication closet" to mount a 16 port PoE switch, a 48 port smart switch and 3 24-port touch panels. They work flawlessly, the screws are plenty long enough but short enough to not interfere with anything. It's a good buy.

I came across a network rack that had little square opening instead of the normal screw hole on the front of the rack These worked great for the devices I needed to get installed on the rack

These were exactly what I needed. I have 3 Cisco routers that due to their depth, I wanted M6, not M5. The length of these were a touch longer than other ones I have which made them much easier to get started. Particularly with the 'ears' from Cisco being pretty thick. Total length is about 3/4 of an inch. Approximately 0.10 is the screw head leaving about 0.65 of thread. See photo.I also had a minor issue with my order which Fencher Co went above and well beyond what they needed to to do. Life is not perfect. The true test of character is what one does when things do not go as planned. Fencher Co will certainly get my future business and I highly recommend them as an Amazon seller.

Overall nice set of rackmount cage nuts & screws. Screws thread easily & Phillips head slots are well-formed & "deep" enough so a power nut-driver won't slip when threading in - have deployed an entire box worth, no threading issues.-1 star: Only downside is the "cage" around the nuts - not as strong a "spring action" as others I've used, so they can more easily get accidentally popped out of the rack square holes than others I've used over the years. Not to say a bunch will do this, just that very few might pop out when the cage nut gets moved around a bit. Still recommend these despite this minor issue.Comes in a nice little cardboard box rather than a plastic bag, which I think makes it a lot easier to deploy - easily reachable yet they don't get spilled all over the place.

You need to buy the clip nuts not these cage nuts for pro audio racks. My mistake but seems like a good product.

So the description says they’ll never rust... guest what? I just opened the box and the zinc plating is already pealing off and the nut is rusting away. Terrible quality.
