I needed something to carry medicine on a cruise. It had to be refrigerated until I was able to get into our stateroom. I was able to carry the medication with me with the two frozen inserts under the packets zipper compartment. It worked out very well. It did the job until I was able to get into our stateroom. I refroze the inserts on the day we were scheduled to depart and was able to carry the medication back home with me. It all worked out very well. Would highly recommend this portable cooler bag.

Purchased this for my eye drops that I have to take every two hours. Super helpful in keeping the vials cold and carrying around the other supplies.

I’ve used this product for a year. All in all, I’m happy with it. I find that both of the ice packs that came with it won’t fit at the same time if the sleeve is in there, so I use one of those with one of another smaller reusable freeze packs. It’s big enough to hold a 4 oz collapsible cup, small spoon and a 3ml syringe (or 3) of my meds.How long it stays cold really varies depending on the external temperature. In warm weather, most of the time you’re looking at 4-6 hours max. In cooler weather, 6-8 probably. I am not comfortable relying on this as my only cooler when traveling. It just doesn’t stay cold enough for long enough. But it’s perfect for taking my meds with me out to eat, or for other times when I’m out for a few hours.The cooler has held up well to almost daily use. No fails in the construction at all. It did get a bit stained so I recently scrubbed it with a solution of dish soap and water. That helped remove a good amount of it.

I have been looking for a product like this! I needed something for travel, and was nervous about taking my stuff with me, and having to keep it cold. The two packets are great, and fit neatly into the netted are inside (don't follow directions, which by the way, needs some re-wording. I think it needs to go in freezer, as the fridge will not keep cold if going for more then few hours). But, I was just using a zippered cosmetic bag, and very happy that everything "has it's place" in this bag, and I can throw it in my bag, and it is protected!

This system, which consists of the insulated zipper pouch and 2 freezer packs, did a good job for me on a recent trip. The pouch provides plenty of room for 2 Victoza pens and appear to have been able to accept a pen and a very compact glucose tester such as a pen style one. Note that with Victoza (vs. insulin) refrigeration is needed prior to opening to preserve shelf life, but once open you simply need to watch the temperatures you store the current pen. So on my 2 week trip, I kept one pen cool (using the hotel refrigerators to keep the packs at least cold) until on my second pen. At that point the zipper pouch is insulated enough to protect the contents. Definitely buy the bundle with the freezer pouches! Even if you just keep them cold suck as soaking in hotel ice - that will help much more than the zipper pouch alone.

Functioned as anticipated. Price is right, after many years, I ended up having to buy a second one but I used it on a regular basis so there are no complaints.
