I like them
One thing, I don't have a dishwasher so I can't speak to how well they hold up there, but I can say that after I hand wash them I need to dry them soon or spots appear. I assumed this would be the case when I bought them so I'm not disappointed.I think they work well in casual settings and look nice for company too...or my company anyway. They feel slightly on the small side for a more formal table setting.

All but one fork look great
All but one fork look great. One fork has a piece of metal hanging on the side and is supper sharp. I need to buy a metal file to file it down but haven't done so yet.

Visually appealing, but not practical.
Very good looking set, but the handle is much heavier that the front making the utensils unstable. They fall of the plate often. Also, knives are blunt.

Plus for packaging
To comment on packaging being cheap, I find it refreshing NOT to use extranenous resources when it all gets tossed/recycled anyway. If it's not a gift, just give me the product! They were individually protected in plastic, so no scratches. I was also hesitant when one reveiwer said it was unbalanced and also fell off the plate. Neither has been an issue for me but this is such a subjective critiscm depending on so many factors specific to ergonomics and an individual's dinnerware. My biggest concern is durability. So far no rust..Will update if needed.

Pretty, but unbalanced in hand - dropped to 2 stars
EDIT Feb. 2019I've had this set of silverware for a couple months now, and dropped my rating from 3 stars to just 2 stars. They are still just as pretty as the day I got them, but I find myself reaching for my few old pieces instead of these because of how unbalanced they are. The handles are very heavy at the bottom ends. All pieces are elegant and refined where they contact food. It's the backs of the handles that don't work for me. They slide off plates easily and it's a matter of time before my dishes are chipped from using this set of flatware. The bottoms of the handles are thick, weighted and rounded. They also don't stack well, but I have enough storage space to work around that. Too bad, as they are still very pretty. This set of Dansk silverware is pretty, with clean lines and a modern shape. The pieces appear to be well made. However, function doesn't follow form in these pieces. All are a bit larger than expected, though they still look elegant and refined, they are not balanced when you hold them. All pieces except the knives are bottom heavy, and seriously so.This means they fall off the edge of plates and don't have a pleasant feel in hand. I'm afraid they will chip my dishes if I'm not overly careful with them.Good design is only truly good design if it functions well. These don't meet that criteria.I can't speak to durability, as I've not had them long enough. They do just fine in my dishwasher, however. (I'm not using citrus soap.)

Design is simple, sleek, modern and affordable.
I purchased this set as a gift for a young couple hosting a holiday dinner. They love the set. Its design is simple, sleek and modern. The ends of the tapered handles are weighted and rounded. The style pairs well with their beautiful yet informal ceramic dinnerware. No problems thus far with scratching or dishwasher. Affordable quality!

Very Happy With My Purchase
I am very happy with my purchase. I bought two sets. The lines of the utensils are very clean, sleek and modern. They also are very shiny, but not with a cheap-looking shine, a sophisticated shine. They are very light to use. We ate with them the first day that we got them and my husband said this is what we should have been using all along.

Knives Rust After First Few Uses!! Lenox Said This Is NORMAL!!!! Would Give 0 stars If Possible!!!
I really loved the look of this flatware and have had other Dansk products in the past and was happy with them. A friend has a Dansk flatware set from years ago with no problems too. After the first few dishwasher washings the knives had RUST SPOTS all over them.I love the design and thought that the knives were defective so I called the company to replace. I did not know but Dansk is owned by LENOX. I thought Lenox would stand by their product. Lenox customer service emailed me a long letter basically saying that this can happen because of pitting in the metal and is normal and to wash the knives with Barkeepers Friend and don't let them stay wet and it could be from my dishwasher. WHAT????I work and have a family. I can't, nor do I want to, worry if the knives are in my sink wet for a bit. I have a 2020 Thermador dishwasher. The flatware is on a top rack. Each piece individually lays flat in the rack. Unacceptable to have to clean each knife by hand after use with Barkeepers Friend (which does remove the rust but only until next washing). This set should be for everyday use and I am extremely disappointed.
