It's nearly impossible to quantify or access prevention... I think it works.
I bought it, plugged in and don't see rats. Realistically That's all I can say. Ask me again in six months?

Repellant or trap?
I’m not one to post negative reviews. I usually just cut my losses and move on. This is a little ridiculous, unless this product is mislabeled I don’t think this is how it’s supposed to work.

Easy to use, seems to work well and doesn't seem to bother my dog.

It needs 2 weeks to work.
It has two great actions, propellant and night light. Must be plugged in vertical yet not at low height, two feet is viable. Do not disembark the plug during any time of the day. It should be plugged in at all times.

Never worked
I bought 6 pack of them and placed them in all the possible corners. But after installing them for 2 weeks, I still observed multiple roach bypass these items literally. It seems those roaches were never being bothered

Worked somewhat
The area I put them in has an issues with flies and mosquitoes, it seems to have gotten rid of the mosquitoes but the flies are still there. Maybe not as much, though.
