Received the bin late yesterday, opened it in my living room and unrolled it and put some dumbbells on each end to keep it flat which would ease assembly. Got up this morning, put it together in a couple of minutes by myself and took it outside. I threaded the 4 rods in and out of a few of the openings, equal distance apart and stuck them in the ground. I agree with another reviewer that they could be a bit longer but they are ok. I recently raided the neighbors curbside trash for large, lovely bags of leaves. I hit my local coffee shop up (you know the one) for coffee grounds and they saved me a giant bag. For newbies, though they are brown in color, coffee grounds count as greens when creating compost. I layered, along with some other greens from my garden and added a sprinkle of almost finished compost between the layers to innoculate it with good bacteria, watering it all well. I have high hopes for this bin and the price is excellent!I'm sure I will be ordering more.For those of you that didn't receive the support rods, contact the seller and give them a chance to make it right instead of leaving a bad review.For those of you that think it is hard to put together (I am a 60 yo, disabled woman), lay it out flat for a day, anchoring each end to straighten it out and you will find it very easy to shape into the desired circle and the clips are super easy to insert and turn. I have very weak hands and I had no trouble at all.

Very easy to build and fill. I used to take around an hour to build a pile but with Zodight Composter I can fill it about 20 minutes. It makes layering the carbons and nitrogen's simple. Just a bit of one, some of the other and a little water. Done in less than the time I spent before. Disassembles with a few clips and pop it back together in a couple of minutes. Makes turning the pile fun and not such the chore it was.

So far I'm loving this. It was much bigger than I was expecting, but you can roll it into just about any size tube you want so you can start small, like trash can size, and expand from there, to, like, kiddy pool size! Awesome! It was very inexpensive compared to other composting systems I looked at. I worried about the fact that it's an open design, but it's actually turned out to be a bonus for adding contents. I set it up behind my side porch, alongside my garden, so now, when my kitchen scrap bucket is full, I just take it outside and dump it over the porch railing into the compost bin. I also recently raked up a bunch of leaves for brown matter and was able to easily dump them from a yard waste bag into the bin. This wouldn't be possible with a bin that only has a small door for adding contents. I definitely recommend this product.

I bought this for my backyard. I don't know much about composting since I am a beginner, but this was super easy to use. You can adjust the width, but it's best to start off small until your compost pile grows a bit and then expand it. There are lots of holes so it gets plenty of air.

After owning a number of compost bins, and after reading lots of reviews for the same, I opted for this one. It's sturdy, easy to assemble, and is constructed well. It's perfect for layering. It's adjustable in size and can be expanded easily to accomodate a growing compost heap.
