The picture states "dishwasher safe" but then the "taking care of your taco holders" picture says to hand wash them. Which is correct and which is inc

So we've used them about every other week for over six months and run them through the dishwasher with no visible deterioration or rust spots. If we had to hand wash we wouldn't keep them long.

Can these be used in a air fryer?

I’ve not used them that way. But based on the material they should hold up fine. Your mileage may vary.

If I turned these upside down, would 5" diameter corn tortillas hang over the bends properly to bake them in the oven?

Yes it would work. Measuring over the hump is 4 3/4", so you might get have to overlap each shell a little bit.We turned them upside down and baked wontons (for wonton tacos), and it worked perfectly.

Works as designed - Make your own tacos shells!

Simple elegant design that is easy to store. Due to the solid design it is also easy to clean (hand wash with ease). Make your own or buy corn tortillas - moisten and oil liberally then apply to mold and bake. Done! then the elegant mold can also be used in presentation when entertaining. Double Whammy! Great product! I do endorse this item.
