The finish is nice. The holes are too small for the front bar and it doesn't fit. I literally chiseled the hole out to make it big enough to fit. Also they shorted us on hardware by a lot. They ignored my messages requesting additional hardware. We had to make an extra trip to the hardware store to purchase more hardware to put these together. We could have made shelves ourselves but bought these to save time. It was a mistake.

I really like the look of these bookshelves. One arrived broken but it wasn't worth it to send it back as it's just a hairline crack. They are not a great quality, very light particle board material. They assembly was somewhat of a challenge because none of the holes matched up & the material is very flimsy. They install on the wall pretty sturdy though, only enough to hold a few children's books though (no encyclopedias or dictionaries!).

I feel in love with the same looking shelves at Pottery Barn Kids and luckily found these here on Amazon as they are 1/4 of the price!!

These are just what I was looking for to hold books in our son's nursery! These shelves are adorable. We were able to put a decent amount of board books on them. My husband said they were quick and easy to put together. I do feel they were a bit spendy and should have been in the $40 price range, but they were the style I wanted and the width to fit our wall. (We paid $56.99 for the set of 3.) Overall, we're very pleased with how they look and fit our space.

My husband put these shelf’s together with no problems very easy to install love them..they hold lots of books. I like that it has the Lil bar going across so no books slip or fall out. My daughter can reach the books and take them out with no problems. I’mgoing to order these shelf’s for our other daughters room. Now I get read stories and it’s fun bonding time with my daughter who loves to read.

I have no complaints. Study easy to put together. We were able to fit 33 books of all different sizes

So they arrived like all the other reviews despite my wishes I'd get lucky. Unfinished SCREW holes and the bars needed to be like forced in. Hubby got it to work and they look ok except you can sell the stupid screws underneath 🙄🙄 it annoys me I hope I can eventually ignore it.

I bought three of these for my son’s nursery. I finally got around to putting them together today and the wooden thin bars do not fit the square grooves they are supposed to slide into, therefore my $47.00 is out the window. My Dad is a tool and die maker and designer and he shares hundreds of these stories about the factory workers not being bright enough to do the right measurements. I am very disappointed. Do not order these. The wooden bar won’t fit into the slots! Beware!
