I was hesitant to get my hopes up on this dispenser because the reviews were all over the place. It works for foil. It was easy to use and for those who can't figure out the end pieces, it's probably best you not use sharp objects anyhow.My only questions is that it says in the listing it can hold 200sq ft of product, and the packaging sleeve that came with the product says up to 175 sq ft of product.Side note with variables: I get my foil at Costco. NOT the super wide heavy duty kind. But the 2 pack of regular width, but 250sq ft of product. The original box which disintegrated shortly after first use is why I bought this product. I was hesitant because of the inconsistency in size of product and it also stated it's NOT good for warehouse size product. It probably only fits because I have used enough of the foil to get it down to the size that fits. So it may or may not fit. Just a pleasant surprise.I will say the dispenser fills like cheap brittle plastic. One drop would probably demolish it.But I was willing to give it a try. I guess we'll see with time.

Put a roll of 100 ft. aluminum foil and does the trick. Well designed

I cannibalised the device by removing the plastic centre roll holder, (item 1) and throwing the rest away. With only the 2 plastic paper roll holders, I made a better dispenser. (item 2)
