I realized the informational video very strategically avoids showing the woman folding this shade up — and honestly, I get it. If they actually filmed that part, it would have to be labeled as a psychological thriller. This shade is somehow both incredibly useful and the most infuriating daily challenge of my life. Trying to twist it back into those three perfect little circles? Oh, just your average “solve a Rubik’s cube blindfolded while being chased by bees” experience. Sometimes it cooperates. Other times, I’m one failed twist away from holding a small backyard bonfire in its honor. Fantastic product… when it’s not testing my will to live.

I bought this as a gift for my husband for his Tesla Model 3. The shield fit the front windshield well. However, he stopped using it when silver flakes started falling off of it as he used it.

I had this product for about 8 months. It has been great. Fit well with the car. But two days ago, I was unexpectedly jabbed by a very sharp piece of metal protruding from the fabric. Don't know how that piece of metal came out. I am not sure if the warranty will cover this. Certainly hope so. Their phone number listed on amaozn will not ring at all. So submitted a claim on their own web site yesterday. Will see how it goes. Update 6/12/2025: After I reached out to the company and left my initial Amazon review, they not only issued a full refund but also offered an improved version of the product. I'm genuinely impressed by how they stood behind their product and demonstrated excellent customer service. I truly appreciate their responsiveness and generosity. For transparency, no, there was no pressure or request from the company to change or improve my review in exchange for their support. And, to my surprise, the new product was just delivered literarily. Really hope this updated version is safer and works better!
