Cabot 31243 Crystal Clear Waterproofing Stain, 1 gallon

Cabot's goes on easy, either wiping, mopping, or spraying. It lasts longer than Thompson's. Also, when I've used Thompson's in the past, it was hard to even tell the wood had been sealed. With Cabot's, there is no doubt as you can feel the difference once it dries.

I’ve used Cabot Crystal Clear on my deck for over 5 years and it works and holds up well. Yes, it is a little slick after first applied but just be careful for a while. I love the look of wood and I don’t like a stain that fades and peels up. With this you pressure wash deck apply and that’s it and your good to go for approximately 2 years.

Works exactly as it says on the tin - one minute the wood soaks up water, a few minutes later the wood repels water and no visible sign that anything has been applied. Excellent product and highly recommended.

This product's highly liquid texture makes it impossible to apply without creating a mess, particularly when used vertically. I would not recommend it due to the excessive waste involved. The most practical way to utilize this product would likely be with a paint sprayer.
