Govee Meat Thermometer, Digital Food Cooking Thermometer 1 Probe with LCD Screen, Wireless Bluetooth APP Control, Alarm Setting for BBQ Grill Oven

Only used a couple of times but at the moment i have griddled steak and it was perfectly medium done as I like. Currently roasting gammon and it is working well. It would be good if you could ask google assistant for the current temperature and have the app set an alert but for £14 we can not expect everything.Update, 2 months down the line, mainly use for roast dinner, have done medium and well done beef and they were perfect, also cooked, gammon and pork with this and they have come out nice. Love it so far.

I found this thermometer very easy to use with its stand and magnets allowing you to put it on the work top or stick it to the oven. The wire is also long enough that it wasn't limiting - but be careful as it does get hot (might seem obvious but easy to forget!). I did find that the bluetooth range isn't amazing though, and is shorter than other bluetooth devices I have connected to my phone (e.g. fitbit, earphones). Overall I think this is good value though and the app works nicely, especially with the option for preset temperature limits/guides and custom limits

This thermometer rely dose give you great results with cooking meets. The presets are very useful, would be great for someone unsure about cooking times as you can pick what you cook st the temperature and off you go.The timer alarm is nice and loud you certainly can't miss it going off. The app also pings you and can be set to vibrate.The calibration on mine was good straight out the box and I have been using it regularly since I purchased this.The probe is also easy to clean using dish soap and hot water.Worth getting

Very happy with this, especially for the price, Works well and temperature matches my other thermometer. as other have said, you need to use the app to change it from F to C but once done, the unit also displays in C and remembers the setting so you only need to change it once.

Initially I was annoyed as it was set to F and couldn't work out anyway to change it but then realised that to set device to C (Celcius) you need download the app via the store or the QR code then change the temperature measurement in the settings.Have tested against a calibrated K type measurement device and they are both within .2 of a degree at 120c and at room temperature.

I have wasted a lot of money on thermometers that broke in a few months. This one has been sturdy and accurate, for a 4 months. My only complaint is that it is very noisy. It beeps really loudly when in setup mode, and when it is turned off. It really needs some way to control the volume. I strongly recommend getting the version with an lcd on the device rather than relying on the phone interface. The phone app works fine but you really want to see what's up in the cooker as well when in the kitchen.

I have a couple of other meat thermometers from more established brands, and considering the Govee is a third or a quarter of the price, it's an absolute bargain. Definitely recommend if you only want/need a single probe thermometer.
