The media could not be loaded. I bought this for our church dance group. It's great! I've had it now for half a year & it's holding up strong! Our dances require ribbons to be attached to it & it fit perfect! I got this size (6") for my 8 year old daughter. She holds it well in her hand.

Upon taking this out of the packaging I felt a tad disappointed. It sure functions as a tambourine, makes a goodly amount of noise, and is nice to shake and bang on. It doesn't give me that "yesssss" feeling and I've held tambourines that do. This one - I wouldn't hesitate to hand it to a child even though I don't expect it to last unless it is shaken and banged nicely - and who wants to do that? On delivery the head was pretty scratched up. That nice reflective and holographic effect is great at a distance, but up close (a foot or two) the marred surface is very apparent. It would've gotten marred with use anyways, so not that big a deal.Given all that - I think this tambourine's future is to go where people are making noise more than they're making music. This isn't an instrument that I'm going to be careful with - and that's OK. Everyone needs instruments that they can lose, break, or spontaneously gift without remorse. It's part of the fun.

I take this to church every Sunday and I love it. I wish it was a bit louder but it is still nice.

Serves its purpose but it is flimsy to say the least

This is not for skilled players or a learning instrument because the first I used it , it fell apart.
