Best GPS Holder Period
I mounted mine on my '96 Harley Road King. It was an extremely easy install. The unit came with 3 different size bar spacers and an Allen wrench to tighten the screws for the bracket. I installed the bracket right at the down bend of the left side of my handlebars. I put the holder on the ball, installed Motorola Turbo 2 in its Otterbox case, then went for a ride. At over 80 miles an hour on a moderately windy day, the gripper was steadfast and held the phone perfectly still. I could see the screen perfectly, as it was not shaky all. I half expected the phone not to fall out, or be to shaky to even use the GPS clearly. It is definitely a solidly built product. I will be buying another base unit to put on my '06 Bagger. I highly recommend the Techmount Gripper! Buy with confidence, ride with confidence! I'll post a picture of my phone in the gripper as soon as I get my wife to take one.

Incredibly well made
I just installed this on my Triumph 1200 Explorer yesterday. The machining, toughness and general build quality are excellent. I have not had a chance to ride with it yet over rough road so I plan to update my review once that happens. That being said, I wound up mounting the techgripper holder to hold the phone in landscape mode in order to keep it from blocking the tach and digital engine gauges. Also, when I put the phone in the gripper in portrait mode I wasn't totally confident it would hold it over dirt roads on the Triumph but since I have not tested it I can't comment on whether or not it could handle it. Also, I'd be risking my phone to do it, lol. I suppose that potential issue may be exacerbated by the narrowness of my Galaxy S8+ but I don't know. If anyone else has actually used that phone with the Techgripper in portrait mode I'd be stoked to hear how well it holds it over rough road. Obviously that's a big deal if you ride off road. Last but not least it is really really easy to both install and use and the handlebar mount is solid as a rock. I'll update once I have a chance to try it's rough road performance. In the mean time for all the reasons I DO know, I gave it 5 stars =)

Using it for years.
I own 2 now. Been using the 1st one for 3 years now. I used thread lock on the small screws because I simply didn't trust them to stay in. I ride every day 11 months out of the year and have had no issues. Very easy to use. I own 3 motorcycles and I have this mount on 2 of them. Best value for money if you ask me. Highly recommended.

Very nice product, worked as advertised in many days of research!!
First I did my research, between YouTube specifically Law Abiding Bicker channel, and various web sites. I decided to try this product. I have an iPhone 6s in a Spigen Tough Armor case, the mount is on a 2016 HD XL1200C. The install was easy only issue was finding a suitable location that would not interfere with instrumentation yet gave me view of the phone. Once a location was found then selected the proper spacer/grommet/adapter? I installed in less than 5 minutes, put my phone in the mount and off I went. I was weary of just 2 side friction half moon pieces holding my phone but as I noticed no slipping or vibration I got more confident and got up to highway speeds - 70MPH, no issues. I am worried about the long term, how long will the springs maintain the advertised 18lbs per sq in of force? Also, the attachment of the gripper to the ball, point seems to be plastic? Along with the threads and locking collar, reason, maybe isolation related but even that part feels solid when tightened. Otherwise a awesome product and very happy with the results so far.
