Hey there! The inside space is 4” x 4” x 8” – but the edges sick out a little to make the exterior a little larger.

would this be big enough for an adult tarantula?

I wouldn’t keep a tarantula larger than 3.5” to 4” in this. I keep my adult arboreals in 12”x18” enclosures. Definitely think of this set up as a temporary juvenile enclosure.

big enough for hermit crabs?

No, hermit crabs need a minimum of 5 gals of tank space per crab - 10 gals is preferred as they get large if cared for properly.

Would you recommend placing a spidersling in this enclosure

the side vents are large enough that a small spidering would easily crawl out. I also purchased the Bioactive magnetic enclosures of similar size and prefer those for my smaller spiderlings
