It does what its supposed to, bit a pain to fit but once in works

Once I fitted the resistor, it worked probably 2 to 3 times, and even then not greatly. It then stopped working altogether, and when I removed the resistor to return I found it had a scorch/burn mark and some of the plastic had melted. This obviously wasn't there when I received the resistor. Would not advise to purchase, and if you already have one and smell burning. Please check it.

Still going strong after around 2 months.

I knew that resistor don't get blown without reason, but when I saw my cabin filter - assumed that air flow was not enough and resistor got too hot and eventually blown.I did change the filter and blower worked for another 3 months - then resistor blown again.But before it happened I've noticed the fan was squeaking on lowest speed.So when resistor blown, I knew the actual cause is blower itself.I removed the blower and disassembled it (as much as it was possible). I've got the access to lower bearing - it was dry and rusted. First I've used WD40 to clean the rust - then filled the bearing with grease.As there was no access to upper bearing - I just used pipe to spray WD40 on it.When assembled everything back together, the flow of the air was noticeably stronger, and fan itself is much quieter.

Product seems good, all fitted and working as it should, only time will tell longevity. Paid extra for next day delivery, which it was, but unfortunately not till 4pm, so too dark to go outside and fit it that day. Had ordered 9 hours before deadline so had hoped for a morning delivery to be able to fit that day. I guess not what was promised but hoped for. Still very quick which is why I use Amazon.
