Quite the task to install but definitely worth it. I hardwired it so that I could switch it on and off and it looks seamlessly clean. My suggestion is to use the clear gorilla glue versus hot glue to install as the hot glue will melt the fiber optics.

The media could not be loaded.  Awesome product. Super easy to install. I Installed in my Rolls Royce Phantom. Removed headliners, re wrapped the material first, poked holes with sewing push pin. Do not use drill as it binds material. Inserted each fiber strand and used hot glue gun to hold in place. Hid the light box in one of pillars. I had to cut the power wire and extend to reach the power source. Plugged in and they work perfect. Who needs to pay the dealer $12k when you can do it yourself for under $300. Super happy with this product and really easy to install. Just takes a couple hours to poke the holes and glue.

Was very excited when the package first arrived. However, I plugged it in and no light. I was so sad. I contacted Chinly for suggestions on how to fix it. They promptly replied with suggestions to get it working, but still no light. I contacted them again and they offered a replacement part. Within a week I got my new motor. I plugged it in and there was light!!! Everything works and the colored twinkling lights looks awesome. I have yet to install it in my car, but I'm sure it's going to come out amazing. The 370 piece kit was perfect for my extended cab tacoma. Wasn't easy to install but well worth it. Took every bit of 8 hours to install. Currently having an issue where the blue lights will not turn on, but seller was very helpful and have sent a replacement to fix the problem. I will update once the issue is fixed.

Solid kit for $100. App works surprisingly well for the low price in comparison to a lot of the other starlight headliner kits out there

This is a great system. Did the work myself to install into my 90 Mazda pickup. Definitely adds to the atmosphere of a vehicle. Takes some work doing but the end result is worth it.

we bought 3 of these packages, and although you would think that you could link each system with only one persons cel phone by way of bluetooth for some reason the maker has it so that the unit will auto connect to any new phone so we are constantly trying to fix the connections. Lily should only control lily bedroom and adam control adams bedroom stars, and Quinn control Quinn stars but each day it is different, Lily will accidently connect to Quinn and Adam will connect to lily, it gets very confusing at times. it needs to be able to turn off the auto connect so that once it pairs with one phone it cannot pair any new phone, they need a reset button to allow new connection.

Likes:1) Very good product.2) Awesome effects3) You have to be meticulous and patient as this is like needle point . . . very fine work . . . and takes time.I bought two of them and they are fun to play with and create STUFF ! !Dislikes:1) Be very careful when using a Hot Glue to glue the fiber optic SMALLER STRANDS. The hot glue can melt the Strand . . . resulting in a SEVERED LIGHT CONNECTION . . . light will not get to the end of the Strand. Fast set epoxy might be better . . . I have to try that instead ???2) You cannot create a Chase Effect . . . THAT I KNOW OF?3) I have yet to understand and use a Controller ( hardware ), and or software ie. Blue-Tooth ( on MY I-phone) that will control RGB W LED Strip LIGHTS . . . . AND TURN THESE FIBER OPTIC , "Light Engines".

The twinkling affect is cool! Does everything it says it does. Took time to install this many strands. Be patient. Totally worth the time doing. Everyone loves it.

The media could not be loaded.  Works well but the drill bits that came with the kit snagged my headliner and tore the clothUse a 90degree pick it works a lot better

Don't hesitate on buying this kit , you'll be happy after installing it . Yes time consuming but worth it once finished! I'd recommend a couple friends help out . Make sure you have a day to do this , cause it's going to take that long to do it .
