ARDO Perimassage Fluid for Perineal Massage (50 ml, 1.69 fl.oz), All Natural, Swiss Formula, Cruelty-Free & Vegan, No Animal Testing, Helps Ease Pain and Prevent Perineal Tearing During Childbirth

So, I’ve been looking for an oil for my skin that doesn’t leave me feeling like a total grease ball (you know what I’m talking about if you’ve ever used bath/body oils, literally ever). I also need to disclose not only do I suffer from severally dry skin due to hard water, I deal with KP on my legs. It doesn’t matter how much I lotion, how much I exfoliate, my legs always feel dry/itchy and uncomfortable. I was SUPER excited to find out that Ardo was bringing out a Peri-massage oil made with almond oil & wheat germ, not only for obvious benefits; but to hopefully help treat my KP! Wheat germ and almond oil have amazing skin benefits and I encourage you to research just how powerful these two ingredients are. Ardo is one of my favorite brands as a nursing mother, since it has the “Swiss seal of approval” (Swiss engineering is the elite.. I won’t even go into that just to keep the review somewhat short) so of COURSE I’m buying it, even if I am past the antenatal period. It has been 4 days of using the oil after showering and shaving and my KP is nearly gone. My skin hasn’t felt this good in YEARS! Even if you don’t need the oil for peri massage, you can totally benefit just as a skin elixir. It dissolves into your skin without completely disappearing or making you too oily.I love this new product and give it a solid 10/10.The only thing I would want the product to improve on would be the actual packaging of the product, which IMHO, didn’t warrant a product deduction since it doesn’t adversely affect the usage, would be a dropper top. I would like to get more than one drop out at a time, but I just popped the little plastic piece out of the bottle and just pour directly into my hand.

Overall, the quality of the oil is great. Makes the massage much easier and is moisturizing as well. I honestly feel like if I don’t finish the bottle with my massages before birth I will use this to moisturize my body and areas like my elbows that get especially dry. I was using olive oil before but this is more pleasant and less sticky.Overall, the actual product is great. My only suggestions is that Ardo should consider changing the packaging. The plastic mechanism is similar to an essential oil dropper so it was taking too long to get the oil out so we popped it out and just poor into our hands.

Just started using this oil and I can honestly say I am amazed. First of all when you open the bottle it smells amazing! Plus for it being vegan! So far it has worked great for me and I have also started adding it to my daily routine and started putting it on my belly to prevent stretch marks and itching. Definite five stars!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I, unfortunately, did not get to use this product for its intended purpose because I have an allergy that prevents me from using it. However, I DID feel the oil with my fingers and rubbed a small amount onto the back of my hand - it's a very light, moisturizing oil that leaves the skin feeling soft and not at all greasy! The lemon scent is very mild, not overpowering, which I like. Since I'm not able to use it for myself, I use it on my son's eczema breakouts. I apply it with a cotton makeup pad after his bath and it leaves his rashy skin feeling soft and moisturized. It's a very nice massage oil and I'm glad my son is able to benefit from the quality and get relief for his dry, itchy skin.

Been using this oil for a few days now, and I find it soaks into the tissue well! I’ve had 3 vaginal births and experienced my first tear last time. I’m currently due in 8 weeks with #4 and added this product to help prevent tearing 🙌🏼 I also have begun using it on my tummy and breasts for some added moisture. Would recommend.

I wish I had this before I had given birth. I had a pretty knarly tear in the perineal area after giving birth and it was difficult during recovery. I'm actually using this during my postpartum phase just as a moisturizer for dry skin in targeted areas, particularly my feet. During pregnancy my feet swelled up pretty badly, with edema and all, and after giving birth everything went back to normal except that my skin was really dry and stretched out. This oil felt very soothing to me and also moisturizing. I could tell that if I had used this prior to giving birth my perineal would not have suffered such a tear and my discomfort wouldn't be so severe. I'm happy with this oil and like that there are no super strong and artificial fragrance as I am sensitive to that sort of thing. Recommend!

i got this oil because it’s one meant for more delicate areas so i figured it’d have the same properties as a decent oil that absorbs really well and isn’t irritating. and it’s just that. recommend as an all purpose general body oil if you’re looking for something lightweight and gentle. my skin has been looking better and it’s quicker absorbing than some of my more expensive products. great if you’re on a budget and don’t like heavy oils because of residue.

I love this oil. It is high quality and so soothing as I use it for massage. But...this bottle is ridiculous. There are times it takes me over a minute to get a drop to shake out. And I need more than one drop per use. I appreciate that it doesn't splash and spill all over the place, but I need to be able to get it outbof the bottle to use it. I won't be getting it again becausevit is simply too much work to use.
