Im busy and never have time to write reviews. This is a completely 100% unsolicited review from a 44 yr old beauty and skincare junkie who’s been a beauty blogger before the term blogger was a thing. I’ve been a licensed cosmetologist for 22 years. I’m stylist, skincare & beauty expert. I own salons & spas that’s grown into a well known beauty brand in my area. I blog & vlog still. For years I was hosted a popular beauty segment on a local news morning show. As fate would have it my salons & spas are temporarily closed because of COVID. Now I have time to write reviews! But since my business relies on positive reviews, I thought I would share my input on this product. I have been getting Botox, fillers and different types of CO2 laser facials for 20 years. I started getting Botox at 26 ( I had already owned my salon & spa for 2 years) because one of my clients was a dermatologist who was getting into cosmetic procedures. This was in 2003 when the “med spa” concept was in its infancy. You get the point. I’m an advanced skin care veteran, beauty expert by trade, and a pioneer in both the advanced skincare industry and the beauty business. I’m the one VIP clients and friends ask “what products” to get and “what services work” because they know I’ve done it all and have sampled it all beauty wise. I’ve tried every high end spa line & dermatologist and plastic surgery endorsed line and drugstore line. I’m not a snob about products if they work. I carry Clinical Skincare Solutions & Bioelements in my spa’s, and both are great lines that I use on my own skin.I think we can all agree there’s an overwhelming amount of beauty “stuff“ on the market. They all have a litany of benefits they list and some endorsement from some blogger, doctor or esthetician.About modicum. My first experience with this serum was a small bottle that came in an IPSY bag in 2016. Ipsy is a beauty subscription that sends sample sizes of different products. I canceled the subscription because I get so much free stuff from brands to try, and only liked about 15% of what I as sent. THIS product was one of the WOW products. I loved it! I used it off and on for about 2 years but around 2 years ago I decided to only use brands sold in my salons & spas. It made sense to focus business so I didn’t compete against products I sold by raving about other brands. To give our customer database solid feedback In my blogs and vlogs, I stopped using anything but our brands. Fast forward. Last year I built another salon location. I’m a tomboy who grew up in a construction family and am very hands on with my businesses construction by being onsite with the general & sub contractors. This is to make sure my salons are built exactly the way I envision- because every beauty professional knows your space you work in is your biggest asset. I turned 43 right before the completion of my last location. After months of being around drywall dust and working long days, I noticed my skin was ... AGING. Ugh. Despite 20 years of fighting the “good” fight of aging my skin was dry, blotchy and patched looking. My night creams were too heavy to wear under makeup. One morning i was frantically rummaging through my beauty closet (yes I have a closet to house all my products) and a box of mini’s I use for travel-I found the old little bottle in a drawer. There were 2. The second one I had purchased from the Modicum site after loving the sample. It had a little about weeks worth of product. I used it for 7 days straight and I could see a significant difference. I always preferred natural products but the years of skincare education I received plus product experience has typically shown natural products don’t give the same results as their cosmeceutical counterparts. Not the case with this serum. I have searched every ingredient in my dictionary of cosmetic ingredients. I’m not sure if it’s the quality, or how the essential oils are harvested or what but the serum is pretty miraculous. I keep it on my bedside and carry a small bottle in my purse. I even add 2 droppers of it to my rose water spray I use for my face. It’s kind of expensive but I know first hand if something is harvested and produced with attention & care, that comes at a price. So to me it’s worth it. My only complaint is 1) they don’t sell wholesale (to my knowledge) to beauty professionals. If so, if carry it. 2) I could literally bathe in this. So I wish they carried larger sizes or made a similar serum for body care. Either way I live this product and can’t live without it. 5 stars all the way.

As a younger man, I didn't follow much of a skin regime; As I grow older, now well into my 50's, my research into the most effective products for me has heightened. After consulting a dermatologist about my mild rosacea, razor burn, age spots, sun damage, and wrinkles, she recommended this product. NO major daily routine required, and the results have been great!. I have received more compliments about my appearance than I did in my 20's or 30's. I will reorder right away because my wife, son, and daughter have each plundered my supply :) It's like peace of mind meets the fountain of youth. I am grateful to my dermatologist for simplifying the solutions and, most of all, to Modicum Skincare!

Magic! Absolute Magic for my skin!Modicum skin serum is amazing for what it’s done to my complexion and overall skin health. It helps to nourish those blotchy areas of my skin, bringing out a healthy glow and vibrancy in my face. The lines in my face are softened and much less noticeable. And it smells so delicious putting it on! I just love it!When I first started using the product, I had many compliments, mostly from friends trying to figure out why I looked better… “Had I won the lottery? Had I lost weight? Was I love?” Some very funny comments, but in actual fact, the only change was I using Modicum skin cream regularly. People noticed the difference!I love my ritual of putting Modicum on my skin, every morning every night. My skin just soaks it in, immediately feeling deeply nourished and cared for. And I look better! My whole face looks more alive!I highly recommend this wonderful skin care product!

I have been using Modicum for quite sometime now and will not use anything else. I get compliments all the time on my skin. I also love that it's an all in one product, which means you don't have to have a separate tube for eye cream or anything special. I have tried and loved all of their products, definitely my "go to" skin care line. They simply have the best customer service around also!

As a guy, I'm open to using a few products to keep my skin looking healthy, but I don't have any interest in fussing around with a complicated regimen. That's why I like Modicum so much. It's surprising how little I need to use to have big effect -- four or five drops is all it takes. I apply it to my face, especially on my forehead and near my eyes, where the wrinkles were starting to appear. I like the subtle glow it gives me, as well as the improvement in my skin tone.
