Always going through technical steps and buzzwords so the author can say I gave all the correct information without ever diving into ultimate truth. Levi Rowland achieves this technical correctness along with an amazing personal and magical quality Astrologers have strived for since ancient times. You don't just learn a list of descriptives for each planet and their ruling signs, you are walked through very vivid and inspired path workings that cause a very primal and honest understanding to develope for the reader. There is also a fantastic astrological/magical inter connectedness present in each chapter that make this book a lovely primer for any grimore, coven, or solitary magical practice.

This book is packed with accurate information about Astrology presented in a literate, graceful, and wholly enjoyable way. The author, Levi Rowland, is a gifted writer who has managed to create an entertaining and enchanting textbook! I'm so glad I found it because I was struggling through one dry and boring astrology book after another, ready to give up. Now I'm having fun and imagining how I can apply what I'm learning in my magical practice.

I went into "The Art Cosmic" with a limited knowledge of astrology. I knew the Zodiac and read some horoscopes, but I never really thought of the path of astrology as a spiritual discipline. Levi Rowland opened my eyes to the magic of the stars and how they can guide my own journey to realizing G*d. The path workings for the planets are extraordinarily immersive and each one had me confronting and healing a different aspect of my self. If you are a true spiritual seeker and looking for ways to actually connect with Spirit, do not pass up this book.

This book is a journey through the art of astrology historically as well as a guide to incorporate astrology into your magic with a deep understanding I never thought could be bound into one book, The author has taken the time to make the information available from ancient times accessible it is an informative exciting educational read.
