I am handicapped and spend much of my days making knit hats to be given to homeless people each year. The YMCA collects these hats from many who make them and make distribution throughout the Spokane community each October!

I'm going to get straight to the point!1. STURDY!!!! (pegs are fixed and sturdy they're not going to pop out or go anywhere. Very strong peg. You would have to be pulling super hard to break these)!2. PERIOD GAUGE!!! This loom is a large gauge. That being said if you want a fuller (less holey) look on your project just double your worsted weight yarn. Basically use two strands of weight 4 to get a bulky 5 look.3. HOLD IT DOWN! This loom has a ancor peg to hold your yarn in place. Instead of wasting a working peg.4. COLORS! All the looms are different colors to the differentiate the size. Telling my husband or son which loom to go grab had very been easier. "Just grab the purple one hun". Lol 😆5. LONG PEGS! The pegs themselves have a pretty good length on them. This make it easier to have multiple wraps on one peg at a time. Better for working with super bulky yarn.6. ROUNDED PEG TOP! These peg tops are awesome! Rounded instead of hooked like some others. Make it easy to get your yarn over the peg with no issues. (Note: some people pegs have little bits of plastic from when the product was made which is normal) Pro tip: take a fine nail file and just shave those hard areas. 98¢ file can fix this.7. I would purchase this exact loom set if anything happened to my beloved set. I currently have these hanging on my wall for easy access. Two of them are not on the wall because I'm currently working on some projects. A scarf and panel for a blanket.

Love the slit on the pegs. Makes craft easier to do.

Could the looms/pegs be a little better? Absolutely. There's some sharp flashing/burrs on a few of the pegs from the manufacturing process which snags on yarn fairly easily, but if you take a little time with an xacto knife you can clean them up pretty well. If these cost more I'd be a little upset, but for less than $18 for the 5 looms, it's a very good deal.

Light, well made and comparable to the Knifty Knitter Looms. They handle well and are very sturdy.My only complaint is that the tops of the pegs have little 'barbs' that really catch on the yarn. I imagine where the molds open up or something like that. I am having to use an emery board to file them smooth. Not a biggie, the loom set is so great a few minutes spent on each loom isn't going to get complaints from me!
