Q: Is the jar glass or plastic?

Glass. It is very pretty but the plant in my case died about 3 months latter

Q: What are the measurements?

The dome is 4 inches tall and about 3.5 inches wide.

Q: I wonder if those who purchased this eventually had a growing plant to plant into a soul and pot?

Mine rotted/mildewed while inside the glass! I was so sad. I never even opened it up or anything but there was a mold on it from the seller putting it in the glass and it just continued to spread.

Q: What is the best way to plant into a pot since the leaves are now pressing against the top of the dome?

After buying several of these most fail to grow once out of the dome.I finally saved 4 of them by planting in orchid dirt and I also have some growing well in just a skinny vase with water.They grow very slow and not sure if they will ever bloom or what.Good luck
