Stellar Boom Pole
I spent two weeks abroad with this pole. It packs easily into a checked bag and extends suitable for all my needs (one and two person interviews). The build quality is outstanding. The side exit design is a must have. I will never need a boom pole again but if I did, it would have a side exit design.

K-Tek boompoles are amazing! Tricky to find a good case for this one though.
This is a fantastic boompole, and its compact nature can be a real plus. But good luck trying to find a suitable carrying case for it. It's so short that standard boom pole bags are far too long, and the carry-on roller case I bought is just a little too short to fit it. And confusingly for such a nice pole, it doesn't even come with its own low budge bag, and K-tek doesn't make one to fit it. They should probably start doing that.

Sound problems
The pole is very sturdy but For some reason I don’t get clean sound from it. I know the problem is not the mic because when I use it without the pole it works fine.
