The HATCH Notebook is brilliant. I've been looking for something exactly like this. I do have company and business ideas but all those other business notebooks are not designed for the preproduction, concept mapping, and creation of the idea to full fruition. This notebook gives me a place to freely think of ideas, track those ideas, find those ideas later and evolve them depending on actions I can actually take to make them happen. They give you a place to elevate the idea to the next level. A place to flesh out the details if a particular idea keeps rising to the top of your thoughts. What's not shown on the sample pages of the notebook in this listing are the suggestions on HOW TO map out your brainstorming sessions on the "conceive" pages. They give you 10 pages of Tips and Guides to help you develop your ideas into ACTION!! If I'm I'm lucky and diligent enough to fill out 1 HATCHED idea from Conceived, Incubated, to Hatched!!! I will be extremely blessed. And it gives you space for 5 fully Hatched ideas, not just 1 idea! Thank you for creating this tool for us. You clearly have a ton of brilliant ideas too that this probably helped you hatch them with. Can't wait to see what you create next!

Each section of Conceive, Incubate, and Hatch contain multiple pages within which to explore an idea's viability. I especially appreciate the fact that the Incubate pages highlight questions that need to be asked about any potential project. It's a great resource to sort out the reasons why an idea is worth pursuing. Ultimately, one has to weigh a lot of factors before deciding to continue with, or abandon, a particular idea. This notebook helps one to clarify that process. The Hatch section is limited to five (5) projects. This is helpful in order to focus one's attention on a limited number of projects. There is also a Tips & Guidelines section at the end. This is a great help to get the most out of the notebook.

Kind of an overwhelming page template-- seems like you'd have to have an idea developed enough before you start implementing the notebook, so you keep it organized-- have the parts of the project/idea in the right pages. It was less modular than I thought it would be.Really want to like it and use it, but just can't implement it.Very nice quality though.

This planner has a lot of page types that I want so was the reason I bought it, but it came with the corner edges curled and even some of the straight edges dented because they sent it in a envelope instead of a box. The cover is very flimsy, very much like a paperback cover. It bends back very easily and leaves a crease mark easily. I was really disappointed. The matte finish shows every smudge and finger print. A textured surface would be better. I would not gift this for that reason. It needs a thicker cover with cardboard inside and it would be better if it was ring bound.

I purchased this planner for my partner who is switching career paths and is excited about networking and business ideas in his new field. I'm hopeful this gift is a nudge for him to document, reflect and plan his future ventures. I flipped through the planner and it looks well laid out and should cover all his ideas from conception to execution.
