I got it at a discount so I bought it immediately. The tint matches my brown skin so perfectly and I cannot stress how beautiful dewy it looks on the skin. It worked very well with dry skin but I am not sure how well it would survive in very hot and humid climates or generally oily skin types.

I'm trying to come up with what I like about this sunscreen and it's difficult. I think the only things I like are the tint and that it really is water resistant. I like that there is not white cast and when I'm in the water I can see the water droplets on my skin just slide off.Now for what I don't like. Firstly, $40 for sunscreen!? That's a bit ridiculous. Then the consistency is not even close to being gel like. It's super runny and feels like I'm applying oil to my skin. It leaves my skin feeling very greasy and I never felt like it absorbed into my skin. Maybe for someone with very dry skin it would work? It also has a very strong sunscreen scent. Overall, I really don't like this product and would not use it again or recommend it.

I see that a number of people have indicated that this sunscreen leaves a shiny finish. For me, Sonrei Clearly Zinq Tinted Mineral Face and Body Gel Sunscreen looked dewy rather than shiny, and actually felt kind of moisturizing on my skin. I gather that this sunscreen is supposed to negate the white cast that can invariably result from the mineral formulation of some sunscreens. The novel gel texture and faint tint have succeeded in making that white shade disappear.Personally, I adore this sunscreen. I usually use Elta MD or Biore Sunscreen (any of several formulations; yes, I KNOW they are chemical and not mineral) and have for decades. My facial skin looks pretty good, and I wear sunscreen EVERY DAY, regardless of whether I go outside in the sun or not. I will happily add this to my rotation of sunscreens. It feels very good on my skin. The texture is a gel; it spreads cleanly over my skin, and I can layer makeup over it with no pilling. My complexion looks bright and glowy with this sunscreen. I even skipped luminizer because this sunscreen was so dewy underneath the makeup.After cleaning off the makeup, my skin feels good and moisturized after wearing this. I will definitely repurchase!

For reference, I am South Asian and have a medium-dark skin tone that leans warm and is fairly dry and sensitive. This sunscreen looks great with a first application on dry skin (light gel moisturizer in the summer or light lotion in winter or just waking up without washing face and applying). I can hardly tell it's there and blends in well with my skin. If I apply it over a heavy moisturizer, however, or don't let the underlying moisturizer set, then it sits on top of it and just never sort of settles. Also, upon one or two reapplications, it can look shiny and give off a slight white cast. Overall, I love the light, spreadable formulation and tint though and would recommend for dry-skinned individuals or oily skinned individuals maybe without a moisturizer. It also looks great on the body but the color does transfer so be careful with that.

I'll start by saying that if you have oily skin or prefer a matte finish, just skip this one. Yes it's wonderful, and I love it, but you will not. I personally really appreciate a youthful dewy finish, and this definitely has a long lasting sheen. I attached a picture of my wrist, the top half has the sunscreen, and the bottom is bare. It applies very evenly, no streaks, and blends well with my skin tone. It leaves a layer on the skin and doesn't sink in, but instead creates a nice barrier. I love that it uses non nano zinc. It really does last all day too, this will be a go-to for me this summer.

This was a fail for my skin. I don't know what they meant by "universal tint" but it clearly does not match my skin tone. I'm very fair, and it turns me orange in spots where I apply it, making it look incredibly awful and streaky and uneven - no matter how little I put on and no matter how much I rub it in. I would have been cool with it if it made me look a little tanner or something, but it just looks...orangey on me. This is a very small bottle and does not last long, so it is very overpriced for what it is, IMO. It also leaves a weird residue that I don't like on my skin - kind of like too much moisturizer (not in a good way, at least for my more oily skin type) and it never fully sinks into my skin, leaving me feel greasy all day. I can't wear it under makeup due to the orange tint it gives my face and also from the greasier feel it has on my particular skin. Maybe if it happens to match your skin tone, and if you have dry skin this might work? They really need to put on their product page what skin shade it is instead of assuming everyone is the same skin tone. It does NOT "adapt" to your skin shade at all, at least in my case where my skin shade is far lighter than their tint. YMMV.

I received thie Sonrei Clearly Zinc Tinted Mineral Sunscreen .I was happy to try this sunscreen as I have melasma and I am giving different products a try to see what would work best to protect my skin from dark-spots and hide the ones I already developed.Unfortunetly I did not like how this sunscreen looked after spreading it on my face. I like that it is made of Zinc and it is unscented, but did not work great with my skin.
