Tales of Brave and Brilliant Girls from Around the World

I loved the title of this book and bought it for my 7 year old daughter, but stopped after reading two chapters which were featuring war heroes as role models. I think war is such a difficult topic to discuss with children and I dislike such simplistic glorification.

My daughter totally got engaged with this book. She was listening with interest and she even wanted me to read it again when we finished the book.
