Product is really beautiful, but same as the other reviews, the hole cut out is chipped in a few place. I just carefully poured the bird seed in there. I don’t think it’s sharp enough to hurt the birds, which they aren’t using it. Still pretty on the patio.

Since there is no perch, the only birds that can use it are small like finches and sparrows. They have to fly inside to eat. I did see a red squirrel inside but I think he was using it as a swing for fun. : ) The glass is thick. The rope hanger had to be re-knotted because the feeder fell to the ground when I hung it. No problem, a few more knots and it holds. This is a heavy glass feeder about 8 inches tall. The opening is less than an inch from the bottom, so you can't put very much food inside. Water gets inside when it rains. So, it works great for small birds if you add a cup or less of feed daily. Works for me.

We were not able to use this as a bird feeder. We live in Northeast Florida so this may be because the birds in the area don't like it. This fills up with water easily and is not fun to clean.However, this is a gorgeous glass piece! We now use it indoor to display air plants.

Same as other feeder. Quality of decorative covering poor. Very disappointed.

This is a pretty glass feeder, however, it is not self-draining, therefore the seed molds in a few days from the rain. It is also hard to clean it, as the seed is not dry and clumps in the corners. The edges are sharp and therefore you have to poke around inside with a long utensil. Also, the twine used to hang it goes through a hole in the top and absorbs water then pipes it into the glass container. After a big rain, the rope stretched and it slipped out of the hole and the feeder fell to the ground. It didn't break, but I won't use it again.

We moved recently and I neglected to open my bird feeder until I was ready to hang it. Today, I opened it and found it arrived broken. There were minute glass shards throughout the packaging and some larger pieces inside the bird feeder that had broken off from the inner edge. Unfortunately, the return window has closed so I guess I'm stuck with a broken bird feeder. That being said, it is beautiful to look at.

This looks very nice on my porch, it's big enough and catches the light beautifully. It's made of very thick glass, and I wish they put more attention into how they cut the glass. The edges of the opening are quite sharp and I had to sand them down, it's easy to get a cut. The cord is nice and thick, but again where the hole for the cord is, the cut in the glass is sloppy. Wish they put more attention and effort into cutting the glass. The color is more blueish than the green in the pictures, but still a good shade of green.
