Cream Ceramic and Acanthus Leaf Spice Cellar With Spoon

I didn't think I would use this spice cellar so I didn't buy it for several years and then I finally decided to buy it and now I can't cook without it! Who would think that something like this would be so convenient and useful that it has become one of my favorite go-to kitchen items! So if you like to cook and are hesitant to buy, go ahead and get it!

Not sure how I will use this piece ...(probably for my watch and rings in the kitchen?) But it is spectacular. I have many of the other pieces in this collection and they all speak quality and style. ( Love the nut bowl as well. ) Our kitchen is dotted with this collection throughout. Pricey, for sure but quite a nice touch to the home.

I was so excited to add this piece to my growing kitchen collection. Plus, it filled a need for easier access to finishing salts by my cooktop. The piece arrived later than expected but it wasn’t a problem. What was a problem right off the bat was the included spoon being broken into multiple pieces. It wasn’t secured in the package as there was nowhere in the packaging from which it could have originated (presumably before it became dislodged and was then smashed in transit). The dealbreaker issue for me was the two cantilevered bowls being so imbalanced that the both leaned to the same side; the lid, however, did not lean in the same direction, rendering it useless. The center post was also bent making the whole apparatus appear lopsided (which it was). All told this wasn’t worth $88; in this condition it’s not worth $8. This is my first dud product from this line and I’m hopeful it’s a one-off scenario and a replacement will be functional and undamaged.

While it’s a beautiful design as I love everything GG Collection, they overlooked perfecting the quality of this one. Spoon arrived in two pieces instead of one. I’d be happy to have 2 spoons but that was not the case. It was broken and could not mend as it’d compromise the look and no guarantee it won’t break apart again. Spoon handle should not have been ceramic considering its size, it could easily break. Had to return and wait for replacement, which is an inconvenience.

Fits perfectly on my counter and with easy access while cooking. It holds two other types of salt.

My post was also noticeably bent. I also wish it covered the spice better. The gap is more than I expected.

I am now addicted to this collection. Expensive but unique and timeless.
